Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Waterloo

Stopped in at 12:57pm on 8/26 and they were not too busy, there was one person ordering in front of us and an employee opened a 2nd register to take our order right away. there were maybe 5-7 people behind the counter who were not too busy. There was also no line in the drive-thru when we walked in. We had a group of 3 and we were on a lunch break and in a hurry for work. We had to wait at least 7-8 minutes for our subs to be made. I've never been in a Jimmy John's where I've had to wait more than 60 seconds for a sub once I have completed paying for the order. Usually they hand me my sub as I'm putting my credit card away. I'm not sure what's going on here... When a franchise constantly markets itself as being "freaky fast" and all the employees are wearing "freaky fast" shirts, you have to wonder what they're doing back there when it takes 7-8 minutes to make a sub. Be careful ordering from here. I HAD a free sandwich and they said the delivery fee is "included" with the pricing! Talk about a rip off! The only way I found out is trying to get my free sandwich. Spoke with a manager and he said he was cancelling my order because I wanted to speak with a manager. Then they wanted to charge me a cup fee, an ice fee and the soda! Never had a manager get rude with me, but this one was EXTREMELY rude. Shouldn't be surprised, their employees are rude. They park in our apartment's parking spots. Leasing manager has had to talk to them, and then I tried to tell her they couldn't park there and she cussed me out and went into the store and left her car parked there. Again, told the manager and she is now talking to them again. If they continue to park there, she will charge them for a 1 bedroom apartment! If they even park on the curb I will tell the manager also, because they are not supposed to park...

Sad I’ve had them delivered here 10 times never got my Freebie sandwich however service was Great food was awesome and when I ordered by phone today I asked for extra veggies she ran thru a whole list of what she called “Freebies” (for veggies I always had to pay for in the past) and I got a dose of nothingness for veggies ! Why call em FREEBIES IF your not going to serve them to your ‘asking’ return customers ? For the money spent I could’ve just gone to the grocery store.
