Fuji Hibachi Buffet — Restaurant in Waukegan

Food was very sparse. Food that was out was mediocre at best. They never brought out anything fresh the whole time we were there. Table lady took our food AND drinks before we were finished eating. Whole family was sick before we even made it home. I am still sick as I write this. Buy frozen food at Walmart and heat it up. Will probable taste better and you are less likely to get sick. Host was nasty to my wife when she complained. He grabbed the receipt from her hands aggressively. I had to let him know that was not appropriate. They also have a hibachi grill thing but the meat was cross contaminated and warm so I did not eat that. Should have not eaten there at all. You have been warned. Maybe they are better when they are busy. But they didn't seem to care about ANYTHING while...

The name is a little misleading. The only hibachi that you'll get here is a small make your own hibachi station in the corner. The restaurant itself is buffet style. There's plenty of good food for the taking. Just to list a few of my takings I would recommend the honey chicken, the custard looking fried shrimp, the green beans, the sesame ball, sushi, and any of the soups. There are fresh fruit options and plenty of other common Chinese foods. For the price, I'd say the buffet is well worth it. It was only about $15 after tax which was great compared to other prices in the area. The atmosphere fell short. A lot of annoying families and there was no music so it was either strangely quiet, or annoying...

No voy a mentir, me gusta este tipo de buffet porque encuentras variedad, pero en cuanto a calidad deja un poco que desear. Algunos platos del menú cambia si vas por la tarde o por la mañana y de igual forma si vas en fines de semana o en días normales. Para el dinner ofrecen filetes y una especie de langostinos. Los fines de semana he visto que hacen salteados y tacos. Tienen un precio bastante accesible. Ofrecen bebidas alcohólicas. Además, si un día no quieres comer en el lugar, también ofrecen comida por peso, en donde tomas todo lo que quieras del buffet y luego pagas dependiendo de lo que pese.

Es una buena opción para ir con amigos, familiares, solo o con tu pareja.

También tienen una pequeña barra de sushi que al probarlo sientes que el pescado no está tan fresco, pero es una opción más económica.

El servicio es muy amable, siempre están pendiente de todo lo que necesites y de tomar los platos que ya no estés usando.

En mi opinión es un lugar tranquilo, familiar, con una comida aceptable a un precio...
