I brought my son's iPad to this location. We live in Michigan but were in the area and needed it fixed quickly. Unfortunately, just a day later the screen entire separated and the home button (which had been replaced) didn't work. We weren't able to bring it back again until a few weeks later when we were in the area again. I paid $200 something for the first repair. On our next try, they put an entirely new screen on (because the first new one broke when they were taking it off) and charged me $30 for labor. It should have been free since their first repair was faulty.
My son left from there on a train for a trip with his dad, new screen in hand, hopeful he would have a work iPad for the trip. Not long after they left I got a message that the screen was hardly responding at all and its only gotten worse since. I've reached out to the store and to national iFixandRepair but haven't been offered any solutions.
Needless to say, everyone is very frustrated. I went out of my way to drive to that location again to fix the first faulty repair, spent another $30, and the iPad hardly works. To type in his password, he usually has to rotate the screen a full four times to find a responsive bit of the screen. It's nearly impossible to type messages let alone play any games.

Blows it out, couple weeks go by till I make my way to the Walmart I donāt frequent, because of distance, When I tell him the story, he said he does remember the situation. I Purchased an IPad Pro 12.9 3rd Gen this past Saturday on 4/20. I was given a deal too good to be true. ā¦Well turns out it was. I noticed a few flaws in store and pointed out to associates one named Ali I believe and was assured nothing to worry about device āworksā and was ānever repairedā. I went home to quickly find out the IPad that I paid over $400.00 is severely damaged! I called as I have been away unable to return to Waukegan location and phones donāt work. Tomorrow when I return I hope they can resolve this issue and treat their customers fairly and honest.
