We ordered online curbside. We got there 5 mins before our order(8pm) was supposed to be ready. We watched a female employee carry a good 8 bags of soda liters in to the restaurant... By herself while 3 male employees just stood around in a circle. My best friend and I sat in the parking lot for a good 10-15 mins while we watched the 3 male employees stand around our food that was sitting on the silver shelf and just talk and joke. FINALLY they noticed us sitting outside. They give us our food and me and my friend head home. We get home and my good is wrong. I'm missing TX cheese fries. I called Chili's 12 times with no answer. I decided to just drive up there. My best friend lives 15 mins away from Chili's. From the time I left his home to the time I got to Chili's, I was STILL on hold(it wasn't rally hold, the phone just kept ringing with no one picking up) . I finally get to Chili's, park, and go in through the front door. Myself and another family stood at the front waiting for assistance for 8 mins. Not to mention 3 servers saw us. All 3 of them ignored us. Not to mention there were only 5 tables in the entire restarunt. Not to mention the 3 employees standing around in to go not doing anything.
It took a young lady, who was actually off the clock to even help us. And I thank her for that.
Now, I ask her if I could speak to a manager. She takes me over to the Togo area and I speak with the manager Nicole. I tell her my issue and everything that has happened and she didn't have a care in the world. They bring me out my cheese fries and I ask them if these are fresh. They tell me yes. I open the box, touch them, and they're COLD. The young man goes to get Nicole again, and she asks me what's wrong. I tell her the fries are cold. They've just been sitting out. She tells me they'll make some new ones. I get the new ones, they look find on the top, take them home. Get home and I'll be DAAAAANGED if the fries on the bottom are ICE COLD while the cheese on top is hot......
Wheres Mike?Dennis? Heather? Lucky? Jay? Those were some of the best managers Chili's EVER had....
Read moreMy little brother chose chili's for his birthday dinner. Coming to this location was the biggest mistake we could make for his special day. We spent so much time here, we no longer have time to do the other things we had planned. Its was a 45 minute wait (which is very understandable because of the time and day) Finally got seated in front. We already know what we want to drink and the appetizer. After 15 minutes NO ONE came to greet us or ask for our drinks. Another table got seated and greeted right away and even got their drinks before we knew who our server was. A few servers just kept looking at us. Even made eye contact a few times. I had to ask the host to get our server for us. After her trying to figure out who's table we were and each person saying we're not theirs (the same people who kept looking at us and making eye contact) we finally get someone at our table. No apology just straight to work. We were all ready. My mom has never been so upset. We have NEVER asked for a manager before. This time we had to. Still no apology from the Manager either and it seemed like we were a bother for calling her over. After a long time we got our food. Everyone else's food looked good except mine. No complaints here because I just wanna leave. No dessert because we just wanted to leave. It makes me upset at the other servers for not helping out their team member. After all the stares and them obviously noticing we've been there for a while they should've helped their coworker out and greeted us. This was the worst...
Read moreI don't understand why it is so hard to find good food and service in Waxahachie. 90% of the waitstaff act like they don't want to be there and that you really aren't important to them. My husband and I were here for an early dinner and literally there were people at only two other tables in the entire restaurant yet the waiter did not check on us but maybe once after taking our order....he wasn't even the person who brought us our food. At the end of the meal we asked for take out boxes for our leftovers and a container for hot sauce and after he brought those to us he started to clear the table and grabbed empty dishes and put it on top of the left over chips, that we were going to take home, why we needed the "take out container for the hot sauce".....we had to tell him hey we were taking the chips to which he replied "oh my bad I'll get you some more in a bag"......he didnt bag as much as we had left over though. The food was just ok, we had the combo fajitas with beef, chicken and shrimp. The rice was over cooked and the sides of pico, guac and sour cream were maybe a teaspoon size each, not enough for a single order so especially not enough for a larger order for two. Disappointed for sure considering the amount we paid...
