Boki Gelato Italian Artisan Ice Cream — Restaurant in Wayne Township

If you are a woman I would stay away from this place it's creepy af to buy gelato from and doesn't feel safe at all. The employees sit and talk to their friends who hang out at the cash register barely giving you enough room to squeeze in and pay while they just stand there scrolling on their phone uncomfortably close to you refusing to move and acting like it's no big deal invading your space like that.The owner is deliberately rude to women and will ignore them while they are waiting to order just to chat and say hi to people who walk buy. Lastly had a friend visit and took them to your other location that was supposed to have gelato as well and there was no gelato there. They were dissappointed and it was embarassing to say the least. Specifically went to the mall THREE TIMES to try this gelato and wasn’t able to due to poor customer service. The first time I went it was an hour before the mall closed and the worker had already closed most of the store down. ( the look on his face when I asked what time they close told me he probably wasn’t supposed to have closed shop yet) And then the last two times I was there during the day and there was no one behind the counter for OVER AN HOUR!! There was no sign that said they stepped out or anything so I sat there and waited thinking they would come out from the back but nope! I asked the worker at Nestle cookies next door amd she said that it’s very common for your staff to do that and shut down early....

Once I had one of my associates come to me saying there is a man drooling while sleeping on the job so i proceeded to go down to this gelato place and wake sir up lmao. I do not recommend this place what so ever. I just tried to buy a hotdog and she told me all they have is lemonade which made no sense. Anyway, I just asked for a small coke and then she proceeds to ring up these girls behind me so I just walked away. Absolutely...
