The Mrs. and I weren’t overly impressed. The food was similar to Culver’s quality except with fewer options. There are no low carb side options. They already have all the ingredients to make a side salad, why not offer a side salad…I’d pay at least $4 for a side salad to round out my meal. I also ordered a burger with a lettuce wrap and it was an extra dollar for the lettuce wrap…why? You can’t tell me the lettuce wrap costs more than a standard burger bun that comes with every burger???? Please enlighten me on why because it beats the heck out of me. And probably the most nitpicky…water is 5 cents. In literally any other food establishment I’ve been to in my life, I have NEVER paid for a glass of water. Wall Drug, the tourist trap of all tourist destinations, water is free. The Mrs. And I spent $38 w/tip for two burgers and an order of garlic parm fries (which were good I might add). Not to mention that we didn’t get our 3 year old son any food, he ate off of our plates. Had we ordered him a meal, it would have cost us close to $50 for an entire meal. My whole family could get full and have food to take home from Fryin’ Pan for the same price. With that being said, service was lack luster as we had to walk to the counter to get refills on our 5 cent water, and my wife asked for lettuce tomato and onion on her burger, which she had to go back to the counter to ask for. I will say, it is a neat concept and the interior was pretty cool. But I was there to eat with my family, not enjoy the view or the atmosphere. I know it’s a new restaurant, so we’re not completely turned off, but I expect better for $38...

If you’re looking for a place that takes classic comfort food to the next level, Ranch & Roast absolutely delivers. The chicken is out of this world — perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside, and juicy on the inside. I highly recommend anything with their chicken, especially the Chicken Sando or Chicken Tenders. And don’t even get me started on the pickles — they’re thick-cut, crispy, and full of tangy flavor, the perfect topping or side snack!
Their Parmesan fries are a must-try. Hand-cut and cooked in rich beef tallow, they come out golden and crisp with a perfect dusting of parmesan and herbs. It’s comfort food that feels gourmet.
What makes this spot stand out even more is their commitment to quality: all meats are locally sourced and 100% antibiotic-, hormone-, and steroid-free. They grind their own beef, cut fries fresh in-house, and make all their sauces from scratch. You can taste the difference in every bite.
Whether you’re building your own burger, trying one of their specialty items like the Jalapeño Popper or Mushroom Swiss, or just grabbing a side of fried zucchini spears, you’ll leave full and happy. This is real food, made right.

Read moreI wanted to like this place so much...but the food was just bleh. Let's start with the ordering. The person taking our order didn't know the menu and we (two of us) ended up ordering enough fries for 5 people because the hostess didn't know if the meals we order automatically come with fries. They did.
The food was good, and that's the best I can describe it. Alllll of our plethora of fries were soggy and wet noodlelike. A mountain (literally) of garlic was slapped ontop of our fries. The tacos I got were actually good hipster tacos that I'd order again in the future. The Steak cubes were perfect...the sauces that came with it...barf.
It's a Meadery...so don't expect anyone to come up to your table to see how you're doing during the meal. We didn't have any post-ordering service.
If it wasn't for the beautiful outdoor patio scenery...we probably would not come back again. We'll give it another try in a few months.
