One of the worst family expierences ever. Close to two weeks ago. Was sat in the front. Wasnt offered a high chair while holding a toddler. Sat us in a 2 seated bench. I had then asked for high chair, then was told we would have to move because the highchair was in the walk way. Understandable. But most toddlers sit in a booster or high chair. The host should have knew better. So we were moved to the very back. Very very back. No-one sat around us. Except for an applebees employee. I suppose because we have a young child and we were in the way. service was poor. I asked for a flavored drink. Didnt have it. Ok. Asked for another non caffinated type drink. We are out.. couldnt give me any other options. So water for me then. My partner asked for a flavored drink didnt like it. Asked to exchange it. And was still charged for the flaovered drink he didnt like nor take more then 2 sips out of. I placed my order. And on the menu it specified the ingredients. I noticed when it came to me. The menu and item did not match. Was upset. It was false advertising. We Didnt say anything, we are not the type to complain. My partner ordered fries with his order. Recieved broccoli. Again did not complain. We rarely go out to eat so i wanted to treat my toddler to french fries. But i guess the broccoli was good. Partner asked for medium steak. It was well done. Dry. And hard to chew. Waitress did offer dessert. But I at that point was no longer wanting to even be there. And my parnter and i were discussing our meal. And the only person sitting near us was infact an applebees employee. Sitting on his laptop and enjoying his meal. Mean while if he were truly paying attention he would have seen this whole situation. Needless to say. Dont go here. Unless you want to be treated terribly. Not listened to. And food that doesn't match your ordee. This company will never do good with terrible staff and the lack of customer service. This...
Read moreMy husband and I went this past Friday night for dinner. It did not appear particularly busy as there were quite a few empty tables. We waited at the door for about five minutes until a staff member told us there were only 3 servers for the entire restaurant and there were three parties ahead of us on the waitlist. We were willing to wait the 10-15 minutes the employee told us. There was a lot of confusing regarding the waitlist. We had an additional employee ask us if we were on the waitlist and just general deer in the head light looks from staff at the door. Approximately 10 minutes later our name was called and we were led to a table that had a dirty top. Crayons, napkins, food crumbs and other items were on both benches of the booth and the floor under the table. We awkwardly waited while hostess got a wet rag and wiped the trash to the floor. She attempted to dry the seats with a napkin but none the less we were left with damp seats and trash under our feet.
Our server arrived quickly to check in and say she would be right back to get our drink order. She did return within a couple minutes and took our drink and appetizer order. 15 minutes later our appetizer of mozzarella sticks arrived but our drinks had not. The person delivering our appetizer questioned this to which our drinks showed up a couple minutes later.
We declined to order dinner and had to flag down our server to close our check.

Read moreOrdered online after coming in off of a road trip, received confirmation. 10 min before my order was to be ready and 5 min after I placed it, I called to adjust the order. The employee answered by saying “hello?” I had to ask and be sure that it was Applebees since the call was answered so casually. I expressed that I wanted to adjust my order and she said my order couldn’t be found. I asked if she could use my confirmation number and she said to hold since they were having kitchen issues. When she came back, she continued to say she couldn’t find my order and that my only option was to call back. I called back 5 min before the order was to be ready, another employee answered and told me up front that my order couldn’t be cooked because the cooks walked out and that my order would be refunded. But, she also said she couldn’t find the order. I then said that the confirmation number was basically useless since they couldn’t use it to find my order that was estimated to be ready at this point. She finally found it and assured me that my card wouldn’t be charged but this type of incident makes you wonder what’s happening at the restaurant that’s so bad to cause the cooks to walk out, on such a busy day like today’s holiday.
