I am curious is it customary for you to make a customer feel bad for having a $100 bill as they pull through your line when your lobby is not open? I was told I was an exception after asked why I did not have any other money outside of this bill and that you guys did not accept fifties or hundreds. If this is the case you should probably put it on a sign and up somewhere so that people aren't berated for carrying a bill that size in an area like Weaverville North Carolina which is high in the financial bracket. I'll be honest the quality of your restaurant is not great compared to others. The one in Virginia are 10/10 years is at best 5 out of 10. yesterday the chicken that we got was dry the barbecue boneless wings literally were not edible because there was not even sauce on half of them. When I spend that much money going through what's supposed to be a fast food restaurant line I do not expect to be braided for carrying a bill and for the food to come out nasty. Read moreI am so upset. I used to work at THIS Zaxbys. I worked in every position from front of to back of house. They were rude, had no urgency, were not attentive, and did not give any information on our food and why we had to wait so long. We ordered 3 simple meals and 1 appetizer. They put up 2 meals while we still waited on the 3rd. The first 2 meals sat in the bag on the counter for over 10 minutes before we were even told that we were waiting on fries for the last meal, which WE HAD TO ASK why it was takin so long. Right after the cashier told us we were waiting on fries for the last meal, the cook put up a dine-in order with fries.(That sat there until we left, I am assuming it was an employee meal) While waiting for my food, the cashier tied his shoes by standing against the counter, putting his foot on his leg, and tying the knots and DID NOT WASH HIS HANDS BEFORE HANDLING OUR BAG/ FOOD. The FOH was on their phones. The BOH was moving slow, and if there was a manager or TL, I didn't see them. I am so sad to see how bad this location has...
Read moreI was so excited when we moved and there was a Zaxby’s near our house — we were looking forward to being able to grab fresh salads close by without having to drive far. Unfortunately, this visit was incredibly disappointing.
We ordered two salads, and not only did it take way too long to get them, but when we finally got them, they were tiny — easily the smallest $11 salads I’ve ever seen. There was barely any lettuce in either bowl, and what was there looked carelessly thrown together. The bowls themselves were big, but the salad didn’t even come close to filling them. It honestly looked like someone just tossed in a few leftover scraps and called it a day.
On top of that, the quality was nowhere near what we’ve come to expect from Zaxby’s. The salads tasted bland and old — not fresh at all, and definitely not worth the money.
We won’t be going back to this location. It’s worth the extra drive to go to a different Zaxby’s where the food and service actually meet...
