If you are ordering takeout from the buffet or something that they weigh and charge per pound in any capacity, make absolutely sure that they clear the scale out before weighing your food! I have gone to get the take away buffet three times and all three times the scale has been set to add additional weight/charges. the first time, I just paid it and left and complained about how expensive it was the second time I caught onto what was happening And questioned them about it and they basically dismissed it like they didn’t understand what I was saying so the third time I came in I made sure I took a picture of the scale where it shows the additional weight they weighed my food charged me, and I paid for it even with the extra fee and then watched them clear the scale out for the next customer, the scale numbers were different before they started weighing the other customers food (all 0 as it should be) than they were before they started weighing my food. when I asked them about it this time with the photo that I had they immediately re-weighed my food and gave me a refund without saying anything. The food is fine. I grew up eating a little hole in the wall, Chinese places like this so it was as expected and great for the nostalgia factor, but definitely really pisses me off that they are sneaking in additional charges for people that get the weighed take away buffets. I can only imagine how many older people they have done that to that do not realize what is happening. Google will not allow me to give this place no stars, so keep that in mind when you read this review. The actual rating is ZERO stars. When we walked in no one was there to greet us so we assumed it was seat yourself. The lady comes out of the kitchen and shouts at us from across the restaurant that we couldn't sit where we were headed. Before we even sat down at the table she then directed us to she said simply "drinks". No greeting, no friendly smile. We told her our drink orders and she returned, practically slamming the glasses on the table. My 5 year old spilled his drink and upon hearing this the lady rolled her eyes and refused to bring my child another drink. It was an accident and the rest of the meal my 5 year old complained he was thirsty. This was completely unacceptable. Moving onto the food, it was disgusting. It was barely edible and had clearly been sitting for a very long time. The whole time we were there none of the food was replenished and we were not there near closing, as I feel should be mentioned. I like many others who have written a review of this place have been here many times, trying to see if it gets any better, sadly, its getting worse. My mom and I always go on Wednesday nights at dinner time, 6:30-7:30 ish. The food is often dried up and hard, even the noodles, from sitting on the buffet under the lights for too long. A lot of items are just empty and might get refilled, but generally not. I have ask a few times for fresher food, only to have the lady, who i think is the owner, stir what it already there and tell me that "its good". I commented with NO this isn't good, its old. No reply an no fresh food brought out. There is mold growing at the back, emergency exit, all over the top of the door and the walls. The sanitation grade is only a 90, ouch! The younger guy who is the only server there, does a great job, he is always talking on his cell phone via ear bud, but we never run out of drinks and our dirty plates are cleared right away.
