This was my first time here. I loved Zoe's when it was here until they started using lower quality ingredients like canola oil in their hummus instead of the traditional olive oil. Which meant things weren't as healthy as they were when they first opened sadly. I did the build a bowl, it was really good, the only reason I'm not giving it five stars is because the process to order is confusing and chaotic especially for someone with allergies to food items. There's no allergen menu so there's no easy way to know what you can have and what you can't have. This would be much better if you sat at a table and someone took your order because they could then maybe provide you with an allergen menu, although that no longer seems to be a law another thing that they've gotten written off the books to help the consumer, or at least give information on what was in the menu items because so many restaurants the employees have no idea what's in the food that they're serving even when the menu is as limited as it is at this place. So I'm not sure I'll go back simply because ordering is frustrating.
Update, considered giving it a second try until I looked at the nutritional data sheet they had at the front desk that shows a build your own bowl with super greens some of the black beans and a split between grilled chicken and roasted vegetables and some of the veggie toppings has well over the recommended daily allowance for sodium! This place is calling itself a Mediterranean restaurant to sound healthy, when in fact, it is not healthy! Mediterranean Cuisine does not use this kind of sodium!! For anyone with any sort of health issues I highly recommend getting a copy of the nutritional data sheet because you will quickly discover you...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at the Cava restaurant on Bay Area Blvd, and I must say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The restaurant manager, Oz, is incredibly attentive and ensured that every aspect of our visit is exceptional.
The staff at Cava is truly awesome! They are friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their dedication to providing excellent customer service is evident throughout our entire meal. They are more than happy to answer any questions about the menu and provided helpful recommendations based on our preferences.
Now, let's talk about the food. Cava offers a variety of healthy and flavorful options that cater to different dietary needs. The menu showcases an impressive selection of fresh ingredients and unique flavor combinations. Each dish we ordered was expertly prepared and bursting with deliciousness. From the perfectly seasoned proteins to the vibrant and crisp vegetables.
The ambiance of the restaurant was also worth mentioning. It has a warm and inviting atmosphere, with a modern yet cozy decor that added to the overall dining experience. The attention to detail in the restaurant's design and layout was commendable, as it created a relaxing environment where we could enjoy our meal and engage in conversation.
Overall, Cava on Bay Area Blvd exceeded my expectations in every way. Oz and the entire staff should be commended for their exceptional service and genuine passion for providing an outstanding dining experience. I highly recommend Cava to anyone in the area who is looking for a top-notch restaurant with healthy, flavorful food and a...
Read moreI got double charged for an item I didn't want. I noticed during my experience here that your staff does not play close attention to detail.
I mean this by charging me for 2 items when I only wanted one and not listening to what I was saying when I was ordering. Another thing I really did not like is the glove usage and proper hand cleaning procedures used by your staff. I asked my server who had a nose piercing to change her gloves because in the time I saw her serving other people she touched behind her ears, rubbed her nose , and face with the gloves on then continued to serve food with them on. Another female that was serving towards the end of the line also touched their face with the gloves, her hands were sweaty in the gloves (which means she hasn't been changing them) and continued to serve food. I'm contacting you all to notify you about this and also to get a refund on the product that I did not want but was charged for.
The staff let me know the only person who can do refunds is a manager and he isn't in at nights and if I wanted a free drink or something else instead and sorry for the inconvenience. I said no I want my money back for the overcharge, i will not accept an error becuase you werent listening to your customer. I would go to another location long wait and staff have no idea what they are doing
*also your supposed to get complintary pita with a salad but they never give you it here at...
