Dunkin' — Restaurant in Weehawken

We stopped at this Dunkin Donuts while shopping at PathMark. The very inexperienced (and we think high?) worker at the cash register stared at us blankly as we placed our order, only to have us repeat it 5 times to the manager as she taught him how to enter it on the computer.

My husband's omelet sandwich was still cold, and needed to be reheated. We had to tell the worker MULTIPLE times what drinks we ordered, and he still got them wrong. My raspberry tea was flavorless with chunky sugar on the bottom of the cup, and when I asked for it to be remade, they just doused it with raspberry syrup and I was drinking straight syrup (which of course I threw out). They didn't make our grilled cheese sandwich for our son, and I had to argue with the manager about whether we had even purchased it before they finally made it! Also, they didn't apologize for any of the mistakes.

The place is so disorganized, they just yell orders to each other and then don't understand when they mess things up. Ever heard of printing order tickets or using computer screens to check off orders like EVERY OTHER FOOD SERVICE PLACE???

Almost every time I go here there's an issue. Most recently, which will probably be the lady time i go here, on Saturday morning (5/24) I stopped in and ordered 2 drink and a sandwich. And every thing was wrong. I ordered a large strawberry dragonfruit refresher. These come with green tea unless you ask or are asked for lemonade. She made it with lemonade and then got mad at me when I told her I wanted it with green tea. Then I ordered a small iced caramel machiato with whipped cream. She entered it as a signature caramel latte. And gave me the latte I didn't ask for. A machiato comes with an extra shot. I know what I ordered and why I ordered it that way. Finally I ordered a grilled cheese and asked her to put it on a croissant (because my 9 year old doesn't like the crunchy crust if the new bread) she said yes but they didn't. So when my husband had her remake the machiato she just scrapped off the whipped cream with the cinnamon and put plain whipped cream on top thinking wouldn't notice. Yesterday was my final visit to this place. It is always a complete disaster. Spent nearly five minutes waiting for a new employee to ring up a single cup of black coffee. She could not figure it out. I can't blame her as management clearly couldn't spare 2 minutes to teach this poor soul how to do the damn job. It's not the first time I've dealt with new employees here who have ZERO idea of how to do any of the job's tasks. I even said "I'm glad I didn't order something more complicated" than a single cup of black coffee. You'd think the ONE thing a new employee at Dunkin would be trained to do is ring up a cup of coffee. Not here....
