Upon our arrival yesterday 11/3 at 1 p.m. your host was rude to us. I wonder if anyone has trained him to know he sets the tone for the whole experience. We asked about a game to which his reply was, "I want to see the Buffalo game as well but there are many other games on." No smile, no welcome and his tone was snarky at best. We asked him to find out and he left, coming back to tell us she was going to try and put the game on. We sat and they put the game on for us. Our waitress was happy and fun and I feel bad we had to leave. We ordered and then they turned our game off. I asked the host as he was cleaning a table behind us if they turned our game off and his reply was YES because someone else asked for a different game. Now there weren't many people there to begin with so it made me angry. Yes, I raised my voice but, hardly a yell as I was told I was doing, stating we were there first probably and I didn't appreciate his attitude when we showed up. One of your waitresses jumped in telling me not to talk to him that way. Huh? There was no cussing. I was obviously trying to protest and let him know he was rude from the get go. Your waitress would not let me speak and kept interrupting telling me how rude I was being. She kept getting closer and closer to me in a threatening manner exasperating the situation. Your bartender knew what was up and chastised us as well. I have NEVER had an issue anywhere like this in my whole life. I was a bar manager and a server as well as a hostess and your folks need to learn how to be friendly, smile and to NEVER over and over tell a patron how rude they are when trying to protest bad treatment. I was absolutely floored. The vibe in your establishment should be totally fun and upbeat, but it is not. There was one friendly person who was our waitress. Let her be a manager; she gets it! We were treated like we were bothersome. Your business should be packed on a football Sunday but with grumpy non-accommodating staff; it will not happen. Sad because your place is really cool! They knew turning off that game was going to cause anger and frustration and we feel baited and are...
Read moreWe've been here multiple times, and after giving it many chances we will never be back after this last visit. Tonight we went in at 8:30 to watch the baseball wild card game and get some dinner. The server was quick to come to our table and get our order. The food was good, but as usual for here the waitress never came back to check and see if our food was good or anything was wrong. Instead, she sat down and chatted with the other waitress, and a gentleman that was not dressed in a server outfit. She came back when our food was done. We were finished with our food at about 9. She asked if she could get us anything else, and we said no we'd just be staying to have another beer or two and watch the game. They cleaned up the dining room, which I was confused about because they didn't close until 11. Not even 10 minutes after she'd grabbed our plates the gentleman who had not been helping them set up chairs at all got up and put chairs up directly in our view of watching the game, but only put up the chairs for that one table. He left the chairs at the table directly next to it down. Then, our waitress came and gave us our check and said, "there you go." We weren't even halfway done with our drinks, and it was in the middle of the second inning of the game. It was very obvious that we were being hurried out. We weren't even the only people in the restaurant, and they turned away other customers as well. This place has the most consistently awful service. The severs don't check on their tables like they should. They're always chatting at the end of the bar instead of paying attention to their tables. We will never be...
Read moreThis place would’ve been a 5 star for the beer selection alone but the service and overall process of the bar was sub par. The beers are filled at the bottom of the cup - there’s a hole covered by a magnet that is activated on the tap. This would be cool but sitting at the bar, I watched multiple times as the cup wouldn’t stop filling or leaked as the server picked it up. Later, I barely touched the bottom of my cup and somehow that was able to dislodge the magnet and I ended up with beer all over myself. The servers just told me not to touch the bottom of the cup. No remorse. No offer to give me a discount. Honestly. If you’re going to run your taps that way, the magnets should NOT be weak enough that a simple touch of the bottom of your glass means that you have beer all over yourself. Then, when my friend and I went to pay our separate bills, they swiped her credit card twice for both of our bills. Luckily I noticed this. At this point, I decided not to leave a tip because it was wild to me that there were this many mistakes. Lo and behold, today I checked my bank account and there is a tip on my credit card that I DID NOT authorize or sign for! So long story short - check your credit card slip and statement and don’t touch the bottom of...
