Subway — Restaurant in Wells

My friend and I came here to get lunch before we headed out back home. I ordered first then my friend did. She wanted to use 2 Subway gift cards that she was sure had $4 and $6 on the other one. When she handed them to the cashier, she said that the $6 gift card was empty and just threw it in the trash. After having paid and sat down, my friend looked at her receipt and noticed that there was a spot where it said gift card balance: $6. After we finished eating, my friend went to the cashier and showed her the receipt and told her that she still had $6 on the gift card the cashier rudely threw away. The woman said "Oh, I didn't give it back to you?" and said that she didn't throw it away, even though my friend watched her say "it's empty" while chucking it in the trash. She could've at least given her a new card. Overall, bad visit. Will not be...

Have called four days in a row to get a refund and I have still yet to receive one. I keep getting told ownership will be in touch but not once have I been reached out to. I placed and online order to be picked up at a later date. Ordered around 5 to be picked up for 7:30ish pm. I get an email saying my order is almost ready. I show up to the store being closed my money being taken, and no sandwich to eat. I am told a refund will be issued the next day by the rude employee who wouldn’t even open the door to talk to me. And just kept pointing at me and yelling at me. I go back to where I’m staying to see that the employee put on the app that the sandwiches were picked up and am still calling every day to try and get my money back. Please avoid this chain...

Shame on management at this location. I visited on Sunday 4/25/17 and found the line almost out the door. The poor gentleman who I found to be very curtious and calm under the circumstances was working alone. I asked his name, he said his name was Luke. I commented on his situation of being alone, he was taking it all in stride. He continued to do his job both making sandwiches,toasting, and taking payment. This was totally unacceptable on managements part. Where was management when someone didnt show for work.
