Came in with a group, waiter was a little inexperienced with a larger group and it showed although not for a lack of effort. He was friendly and did his best but having experience in the service industry as well as several others in the group his lack of experience handling an order this large showed. Drinks were slow some forgotten food orders mixed up but in the end most everyone got what they wanted figured out. This alone wasn't the reason for the poor review, towards the end of our meal the waiter felt it was appropriate and necessary to announce to our group and everyone in the general area of our group that due to company policy he would only split our checks into 4 equal amounts and it was our responsibility to figure out amongst ourselves who would pay for what or how we would sort out the money between us as this was not his problem and too much work for him. Now we were mostly in couples and all seated next to eachother and again although it would have taken a few extra minutes to split out checks it is not something completely unreasonable in our minds, especially considering we were all aware of the additional gratuities charged because of the larger group and again having multiple people in the service industry were more then prepared to tip accordingly. When the host of the group explained that when the reservation was made there was never a mention of this made and had we known we would have came prepared with cash to split and pay our own bills between friends and family, our waiter almost irritated again said that's our policy and it's not my job to split the checks 20 different ways (we didn't need 20 different tickets). At this point the host along with a few others in the group politely asked to speak with the manager on duty who came up from the bar downstairs and immediately told us he was the one who received the reservation from the host and it was his mistake as he had not explained that when the host called and made a reservation. In the end they split our tickets which didnt take more then 5 min (after they agreed too) and we each were able to pay and we left. Now I'm in the service industry and understand the need for certain policies and procedures to keep service levels uniform and consistent but I also understand that customer service is a fluid process that should be delt with case by case. We were not an extremely difficult group to serve, we had minimal requests, we simply wanted to have a good time and it ended not in the way we would have liked. which is unfortunate in a small town like Wenatchee as none of us...
Read moreWent here on a whim. Did I spell that right? It's lunch time. We're looking for something more to do and some place to go - Gus (me) loves pub food. Let's try this place. Okay... let's go. It's a VERY nice looking place. An old warehouse .. right back of the tracks .. pedestrian walk way out in front going over the tracks to the other side. Who knows where it leads to? I dunno. The new upgrade to the building is amazing and very inviting. Brew House. Yum. We go in .. we're there just as happy hour is to begin. About 3pm. I believe it goes from 3pm to 7pm .. maybe 6pm. Great prices and stuff. And .. lots to choose from .. Everyone picks something different . . . and ... I have GOT to try this smoked pizza they are offering. If it's good, it may be the best 12 bucks I ever spent. Drinks are good - and - the pours are full. Have another pint? Sure .. why not. I'm not driving. Oh snap. I AM DRIVING. Make mine tea now. The food comes and it's looking good. But - how will it taste? The smell is overpowering - and - my stomach is yearning .. it smells so gooooood. I take a bite .. and .. before I do .. ask the table if anyone wants some of this .. as I will NOT be able to eat the whole thing .. No one bites. They have their own stuff. Okay .. I'm gonna be a fat bass Terd .. if I keep this up. I ate the WHOLE .. ENTIRE .. thing. It was like eating candy .. or ... something .. Maybe . . . this is what a HEROIN addict experiences .. it was .. just great. I am addicted! I will be back .. soon. I'm gonna get sooooo fat in this place. Monty Python fans will know this one .. hahahaha .. " I can't eat another freaken thing ..." "it's just a small mint sir" .. "not another thing .. oh .. alright ... " ..... BOOOOOOM .... Yep .. I'm gonna explode just like that. They have a BURGER on that menu .. I have to try .. I'm not gonna tell you which one .. you'll have to go and see if you can find it .. man .. I...
Read moreIf I could give 0 stars I would. The service was mediocre and the drinks were hit or miss. Tap pours were great, which is hard to mess up. But the so called “signature cocktails” are a joke. The lions tail should not even be on any menu. Yet alone under a signature cocktails menu. It tasted like Clorox wipes I kid you not. Also this yogurt liquor… who’s creating these drinks for you? Please reevaluate your menus. Now for the food. HORRIBLE. It was so bad we didn’t even feel comfortable asking to return a WHOLE tables worth of food. $30 Buffalo Chicken Pizza? Talk about Barf-alo hard pre cut chicken from the store chicken topped with unpleasant flavors. Once again. Who’s making these menu options. It was just as bad as the lions drink. It was tear jerking, mouth burning, and honestly tasted like a mix of unpleasant creamy sauce as the base with way too many flavors jumbled on top. If that wasn’t bad enough the burger tasted like it was seasoned with Italian season. Therefore it was essentially a meatball in a bun. So much for the name of the Gold Standard Burger. That was anything but that. Elote was good but towards the end of the appetizer we didn’t feel good and it got to a point where we realized we were just starving and the quality was so so. Overall I wouldn’t come back. And I mean this in the nicest way… save your money and enjoy what you eat. Not suffer through it. Besides the food being bad. The restaurant ceiling was leaking. We were sitting in the booths on the far wall and watched it the entire time. It even dropped on us. Speaking of these booths, for the safety of your patrons please secure the backboards. No one wants to be tossed around while people are getting in and out or readjusting because you don’t have safe and comfortable seating. A few screws minimum needed. Sit in the...
