This encounter occurred between 7:45 PM and 8:10 PM on July 12 2024. This is very pity and I shouldnât comment but somehow human nature we feel if the store manager didnât address it properly, we come and vent here.
I am a law enforcement officer and I respect each individual. This female (kiddish) I was ordering a cookie for my elderly dad (if it wasnât for him I wouldnât even mention or ask for a manager and rather let it be gone) - but as we purchased the cookie I asked her kindly to please hand him the cookie, the answer I got from her was âoh the cup of tea you paid for earlier did not work so Iâll give it once this is paid forâ ok I understand, but there is a way to say that. Her body language and way she spoke was very condescending. Later I went and was speaking to one of her colleagues and she came and stood still with a very bad attitude (I requested please give me space to speak to this female and she replied âIâll stand where I want, I work hereâ later her manager came who was her friend and knows her to be âvery sweetâ great; maybe sheâs a sweet person in general but needs people skills at work, that employee did not even apologize rather kept the arrogant attitude. My opinion is that she was being racist , now what will we do running away with an oatmeal cookie? We are there like everyday, sure maybe she doesnât know but at the end of the day, this was not a just...
Read moreNot sure if it was from lack of people working, but coming on a Saturday morning to walk in, the dining area was closed and forced to use drive through- that was unfortunate (we have kids).
We ordered food and had to wait in long line for drive through just to pick it up (apparently should have choose drive up, but wasn't sure that was an option or would even work due to the closed lobby).
Got our food (because it was ready), but then still had to wait because they forgot to make the latte drink.
Then, when we opened our food: the avocado toast literally only had avocado (or lack there of), some lettuce greens and huge chunks of feta- no tomatoes or green goddess dressing; the asiago sausage and egg bagel sandwich didn't even have the sausage on it.
I saw the 3.8 rating on google maps, but generally Panera is pretty good, but I should have heeded that red flag and not come, nor will I want to in the future here because of all this. Very sad because I love Panera and this was supposed to be convenient (and healthy alternative to regular...

Put it in my bread bowl, mixed it around and started eating. As I'm about to take another bite I notice something blue. It was part of a toothpick with the colored cellophane wrap on the top. I passed it by. Wondering how the hell it got in there, but I wasn't phased. 2 bites after, I see something that I think is the skin of an onion, the membrane that sometimes comes off of sliced onions. I pulled it out of my soup. It was a piece of plastic. I didn't want to find out what else was in my soup so my dinner was ruined.
I know mistakes happen, I've worked in restaurants for 9 years. But seriously ?? Come on . That was a choking hazard and it could have done internal damage.
What if that had been a child's meal?? You're lucky I saw it and you have no law suit to be filed.
