Terrible food and terrible service.
My wife and I dined here on a Saturday afternoon (3:30 pm), the place was not all too busy. This was our 1st time visiting this location since it recently just opened up. Our waitress seemed nice and she quickly introduced herself, took our order, and then left us. It wasn’t too long afterwards that our appetizer came out from the kitchen. It was delivered to our table by the kitchen staff and not by our waitress. He just dropped it off at the table. No plates, No utensils, No napkins.. NOTHING. So we just looked at it while we waited for our waitress to walk by so I could call upon her. 5 minutes later there she was, so I called out to her and told her what we needed. She brought what we asked for and I also asked for a drink refill. Well that drink refill was forgotten. 5 minutes later our food came out. I ordered the Fitzgerald burger and my wife ordered the Syburger. Once again, delivered by the kitchen staff and not by our waitress. We ordered them both cooked medium. They came out medium rare/raw. The grilled sourdough bread was saturated in both blood and caramelized onion juices. Fries were really over seasoned. But I was so hungry that I stomached eating 1/2 of my sandwich and 1/2 the over seasoned fries. My wife’s Syburger was just RAW. We waited on another sighting of our waitress. 5 minutes later, there she was walking by and neglecting us. So I called on her once more. I told her the sandwich was raw and needed to be returned back and replaced. The table next to us was also enduring difficulties of their own with getting their food done right. He sent his steak back twice and still was not happy with it. He then spoke with the lady manager about his issues.
In the end our waitress simply neglected our table. She didn’t seem interested in us or our needs. We could not get a drink refill until we were actually paying our bill to which she then asked if we wanted the drink refills to go along with the corrected burger. That’s just wrong. I never once felt as is if we were important. My experience felt more like ORDER-EAT-PAY-LEAVE….ASAP. If this kitchen cannot cook a couple burgers right then it’s time to re-train the kitchen staff or find some accomplished cooks to do it.
Syberg’s … I will not return. You definitely lost the both of us!
** Store manager Jerry contacted me on the phone and we spoke in detail about my dining experience. He was very apologetic and seemed to be a genuinely kind person who truly values his customers. He offered me a gift card as compensation. I can say this much, Jerry (whom I’ve never met) is a stand up guy. And because of his actions of taking time to contact me and speak to me, be understanding and compensate me, I am changing my star rating from 1...
Read moreWe will always go out of our way to go to this location!! We went in yesterday for a quick family lunch and once again it did not disappoint! I have a tomato allergy which is not very common and I usually have problems when it comes to my food when we eat out but they always take it so seriously! I notified the waitress in the beginning of my allergy and she must of let the kitchen manager know because he brought my food separate from the rest of the table because he did not want any cross contamination! This was a first and a relief that I didn’t have to deconstruct my food to triple check. As we were eating the manager, Jerry, came to our table and was talking with us when my son realized the Buffalo sauce he ordered with his chicken was too spicy. Jerry brought him multiple sauces and a new drink to wash it down! He also emphasized to not worry about the mess my infant had preceded to make as his Mac and cheese was more on the floor than in his mouth! The food is always great and the management is wonderful!! The hostesses are always warm and friendly and the bidder stopped what he was doing to pick up the toys my 9 month old threw to the floor! I can’t say anything negative about this experience or any at this location!! They truly care about the guest experience! (We did pick up the Mac and cheese because as a previous server I know how hard that stuff is to sweep off the...
Read moreI took my sister there for her birthday. The atmosphere was good, the server was on top of everything and delightful, and was very helpful as this was our first time at this restaurant. We had two appetizers, loaded potato skins and fried pickle chips. The potato skins were perfect, not over or under cooked, and just the right amount of cheese and bacon bites. The pickles were a bit over battered but still good, the dipping sauce that came with was a bit too sweet for my taste and over took the flavor of the pickle instead of bringing that flavor out. We had sides of salad and it was delicious, had just the right amount of cheese and croutons and red pepper, and red onion, and the red onion was cut well and thin so it did not over power the taste in the salad. I do think it needed a bit of carrots and or tomatoes. We decided to try all three of the mac and cheeses. The lobster mac was creamy, and hot, however a bit too salty and the noodlesa bit mooshy. The symac was also creamy and hot, the noodles were good, a bit plane for the sauce, the grilled chicken was cooked well just a bit salty. The Cajun shrimp pasta was delicious, a bit too spicy and the shrimp a bit salty. The fried chicken was very good, crisp on the outside tender on the inside. Fish and chips, were just right. This was a alright meal, but...
