Chuck E. Cheese — Restaurant in Weslaco

I went to this location and was treated absolutely horribly. As soon as I arrived no one was there to greet us. We stood there for more than 15 minutes because from what I recall from previous times that we have gone to your establishments there is someone who is suppose to stamp us with codes. After 15 minutes a man from behind the counter signaled us to approach him. He then proceeded to stamps us while rudely interacting with us as if annoyed he had to do his job. After he stamped us he walked away and left us waiting by the register. After another 10 minutes he decides to show up and finally be a cashier mind you by his time we are no longer the only ones waiting in line. As he proceeds to the register another lady from behind the line jumps ahead of us and starts dictating her order. The cashier did not pause to acknowledge my family or the other people behind us and proceeded to continue attending others before us. When it was our turn he then said I didn’t know that lady was going to cut in front of you and giggled. By this time we had spent 25 minutes waiting for service. I asked for a manager and he pointed to an associate next to him who had been overhearing the situation and did not acknowledge our presence. I decided to leave this establishment and continue my business elsewhere luckily for us there is another location at a fairly close distance. As we were walking out the door, the manager decided to thank us for our business. Horrible location. I went to the McAllen location and was a completely night and day different greeting. The staff at that mcallen location deserves to be commended. While this Weslaco location needs to be reevaluated.  The staff was the rude and unprofessional. It’s been almost a week from this experience and I am still fuming at how this staff ruined my youngest child’s first experience because the staff left us very unsettled and I was not about the continue transacting business with a staff that is not grateful for their customers. Ive been bringing my kids to this location for a good while already and never had issues, until yesterday. I was rewarding my 4 yr old son for certain reasons, so he was excited all day to go to chuck e cheese. He will not go anywhere else but there to play games. We took him for a snow cone and went to this location. We walked in as a family and the host or greeter denied us entry due to us having snow cones. He said he couldn't allow us to walk in with outside food. Mind you there are no signs posted outside stating that, and we were going to spend quite a pretty penny there to enjoy or evening with food and games. People take outside food all the time for birthday parties such as candy bags, cake, ice cream etc... my wife and I were extremely upset, that we had to tell our 4 yr old who was anxiously waiting all day to go that we were not allowed in. We left disappointed and he left crying. I honestly don't see what the big deal is about outside food if we are going to purchase food from the establishment and spend money. I hate to say we will not be going to this location anymore because of one employee. Ive had good experiences with other employees, but not this gentleman. I've been to the one in Harlingen rarely to the one in Weslaco. We came for my sons birthday only to wait and wait and never get our food! I spent $145 after 30 mins I went up to ask about the food the kids started to use one card I had purchased 3 thirty minute cards. The girl at the register said oh some times the printer acts up and said our food be out in 5 mins. Went back to wait and wait when I saw a family who had just ordered while I was asking for the food get there's and I was still waiting... I went to ask again she's like oh it's almost out I ask did they forget to put in my order? Why wasn't I told you had forgotten and just had us wait and wait! Yes I got upset I was hungry so were my kids when o asked for a refund I was only given $67 back she said we used all the cards I said just give me what your gona give me so I can take my kids to eat else where!
