Sr. Cruda Ceviche and Micheladas — Restaurant in Weslaco

1st time customer, place was empty. An employee explained the menu, when I mentioned I didn’t want alcohol she said they could sub agua mineral, not crazy about that either, she did mention they sold the mix by itself but with no extras, tho. I settled for ‘pa la cura’. She gave me a sample of the mix, it wasn’t bad. However when I asked if they could add a little bit extra of the mix they said they couldn’t so I left with a less than full cup that was $14.06 + 1.75 tip. I was very pleased with the service, I can see the people prepping the food are presentable, their hair together and using Hair nets which is a Big ONE on this type of establishment, I see the owners taking care of people and being present helping out, service is fast, great michelada, I see a family atmosphere, the entire place is very clean, even the trashcan is clean, we only drink and order a michelada, we didn’t consumed any food, we will next time. Staff was friendly in explaining the menu. Tried the small bowl with mahi-mahi Hawaiio style, serving size was generous plenty of fish in the dish. The shrimp cocktail also had a great amount of shrimp in it more than any local restaurant has in theirs. Both of these were worth is. Also tried your bag of chips with shrimp Hawaiian habanero style. All items were refresh and taste great. Would definitely recommend and go back to try...
