6•1•26 well we decided to give this place another shot since it was good a week ago that this time it failed. Omg what happened only conclusion would be cooks. Service is still good even the waiter was embarrassed and I don't blame him was not his fault I blame cooks.so I ordered this dish 1st time and it was extremely hard 1st like if you leave it sitting for a good while then you just add the sauce yet shysty on that you shove it in over leave it more over cook by then pasta is harder and dried not creamy. Just aweful 2nd dish was lasagne it was good. Then the mgr came I explained to her what was wrong with my dish she said it does go in the oven. I said I understand but IYKYK not to the point where its dried and showed her the picture even before I touched it. They gave me extra sauce but by then the sauce was absorbed and just got mushie and no flavor. By apologizing she gave us a small piece of tiramisu that even that piece was shysty vs. When I pay for it. Omg, whatever If I decide to go I'll make sure or hope for better cooked food. It is pricey but leaving upset for a dish that was nit worth it it is bothersome. Here's the proof

5•24•25 before I start would like to give a huge shout out to Mr. James we was very hospitable easy going always kept his cool and always on top of his game. Outstanding waiter. Decided to come to this olive garden because the one closer to me is over rated and is becoming very sloppy and getting worse service. So I decided to drive a good 45 min more to this location and had a wonderful experience, awesome waiter, great food was nice fresh and hot i decided to make my own dish so i picked angel hair with the mushroom sauce and frita chicken was very good. This Olive Garden Italian Restaurant has a great location in Weslaco on the north side of Interstate 2 (Hwy 83) in front of the TJ Maxx and JC Penny Stores. They have a good sized parking lot, but at peak hours those can run out. No worries, as there is plenty of parking in the adjacent shopping center.

At 4 PM on a Sunday my party of 5 had a short wait for a table, shorter than the 20 minutes we were initially told. We were shown to a nice table. The facilities are relatively new, look beautiful, are clean and well maintained.

They offer a variety of soft drinks, iced teas, flavored infusions, wines, and other alcoholic beverages. I got the fresh brewed iced tea.

The menu is the same as other Olive Garden restaurants, offering all-you-can-eat salad or soup with your entree. I often get the Toscana Soup, but chose the salad and breadsticks this time. They have all the classic pastas like Eggplant Parmigiana, Chicken Parmigiana, Spaghetti, lasagne, Salmon, Steak Gorgonzola, Shrimp Scampi, Chicken Carbonara, and many more.

They also have a make-your-own option. You choose the kind of pasta you desire (including gluten free options) Rigatoni, Bowtie, Penne, Angela Hair, etc. Then choose your sauce and protein.

Of course, there are desserts. I would have ordered the Tiramisu, but was too full after the salad and my entree.

The service was very good. Our server came by several times to ensure we were OK and kept our drinks filled. The food was served timely, and was as beautiful as the pictures on the menu.

You can order more or pay at your table using the tablet kiosk that is on each table. Or, if you prefer to use cash, you can.

I went in this evening to the weslaco location because y'all do not have pizzas in the McAllen location so I took the hour drive to the weslaco location to redeem a gift card that you had sent me . I asked for a table of six when they sat me down I had a different waitress place my order and my drink orders I believe there was a shift change and a different waitress delivered my meal and rang up my order I ordered from the lunch menu and she ended up charging me the entree price to be specific I ordered three shrimp scampi plates at $9.99 and she charged me three shrimp scampi plates at 18.99 I also ordered kids meals and other items the price discrepancy just happened to be on these three items I had told her that when I placed my order I had asked for the lunch prices she got mad rolled her eyes at me and said well what do you want me to do I said I specifically asked for the lunch she took the receipt from my hand and said I don't know what I can do let me ask my manager very rude she came back I reviewed my receipt and there was some game charges on there we did not even touch the little game monitor after I told her what are these discrepancies on my receipt that weren't there before when you took it and now you bring it back and you're charging me for games she got the receipt pulled it from my hand and tore it up and wrinkled it in front of me and yelled let me go talk to my manager again she was so rude at that point I left to my car and let my husband deal with her her name was Kayla.N the time of my was 5/31/2022 if I would have known this was the service I was going to receive after an hour drive I would have just went to the...
