JCPenney has great deals, but I took my grandma who is in a wheelchair to shop for clothes and a pillow. She can only handle shopping for short periods of time. I was really upset to see that no one was taking care of the fitting rooms. A customer was in the wheelchair or Handicap dressing room while I mentioned it to a employee she stated “well your going to have to fit in a regular dressing room”. I asked if there was another fitting room for wheelchairs available she stated “no that I would need to try my best to fit into the regular fitting room”. So imagine this 2 fully grown adults and a wheelchair in a dressing room meant for 1 person. I tried my best we managed to barely fit. I needed to get her fitted with the blouse since she was already getting fussy asap. I accidentally hit my grandmas knee against the door because of the small dressing room and struggling to get in and out. JCPenney do better keep those dressing rooms taken care of. He was halfway through the transaction when my mom asked him if he put in the phone number for rewards and he canceled the transaction. He told the woman he was training that “you see she didn’t tell us about this until now so now I have to cancel…” basically blaming my mother for something that cashiers there usually ask before starting the transaction. Read moreI have shopped here and at other JC Penney for years. Never had an issue at any of them returning something until this store. I bought a watch for my son for a Christmas present the week before. He opened it on Christmas and used it a few days and it quit working. I go to return it and the manager at the jewelry would do nothing to help because she said watches had a fifteen day return. She would not even look up my account to see if I had purchased the insurance. Either way if the quality of of something like a watch can't even make it a month it makes me wonder if they were telling me the truth on the couple thousand I spent on jewelry the same day I bought the watch.
