This resturant was our go to for sometime. Loved looking forward to Friday night dinner out. We would see our favorite waitress Chris. This past Friday 4/29/2022 was the absolute worst. First the hostess tried to seat us at a broken booth with the 2 chairs on the other side for our guests. The booth was no longer attached to the wall. Chris and another gentleman made arrangements to get us moved to a table for safety concerns. Wehn we were sitting on the booth it had us feeling like we were falling forward. Now these friends and ourselves have had the Friday fish fries before. It appears that the cod fish fry now looks like van de camps fish. Our friend who has eaten with us there in the past said they changed the fish. My response was I thought so too. We were told about the specials available by Chris. My husband had thought about the steak special which he went with. I choose the Seafood Trio 4oz lobster tail, 2 large shrimp and also included 8 oz of white fish. The lobster and shrimp were fine. The white fish was not good. 1st and foremost it was cold. 2nd it was soaked with water and tasted like slop on a plate. The texture was gross. Took one bite and wanted to throw up. We were out with another couple and she asked to try a small bite of the fish to make sure it wasn't me. She spit it out. We spoke to our waitress Chris and asked to see a manager. She said Gail would be with you shortly. Well Gail passed us by not once not twice but 3 times before Chris arrived to our table with a slab of pork loin chop from the cooks in the kitchen. (REALLY) my dinner was a seafood dinner the fish was terrible. Now common sense would say if she didn't like the white fish we should replace it with 8 ounces of cod (CORRECT)? I let Chris know I am not a fan of pork and that we still had not seen Gail. Chris asked if ribs would be okay with me and I said I guess as baby back ribs are yummy. Well Chris came back to tell me the cooks would not make the ribs for me because they offered me the pork loin chop. I was very ticked off and stated that Gail needed to get over to our table. Gail finally walked over and asked what our problem was. Myself and our friend who tried the fish stated it was terrible. Gail stated she would adjust the bill. She only took $5.00 off a $25.00 meal which 8 ounces of that meal was the fish. So I paid $20.00 for a 4 ounce lobster tail and 2 large shrimp. We did give Chris our phone number and told her is she ever leaves that place to contact us and let us know where she will be working. We are done with Steakhouse 100. That was uncalled for as far as...
Read moreAbsolutely terrible experience. My family drove 3 hours to have a nice dinner with me to celebrate my graduation from my doctorate program after it was cancelled due to Covid in 2020. I called to make a reservation a week in advance. The person on the phone confirmed. I even had her repeat the date and time to make sure. We get there 15 minutes early. The hostess said it’ll be a little bit (no problem) then she starts flipping through the reservation book and says she can’t find the reservation I booked. I said okay let me look at my phone calls to see when I called so maybe you can look on that date. I couldnt remember exactly when I had called. I said a phone number on my list and she said, “that’s not right, you must be confused”. Then I found the phone number. Confirmed I called on 4/1 and spoke to the person for 3 minutes. The hostess continued to flip through the reservation book and said “it’s going to be a while” over and over. I told her I was frustrated because I made the reservation and it wasn’t my fault they lost them. I asked if anything could be done and she just said, “it’s going to be a while”. Then my dad came over, said he checked with everyone and they would be fine going somewhere else. He also said “I’ve been waiting for a drink and there’s no bartender”. The hostess said “well I’m the hostess and the bartender”. She then left her stand, ignored me, and went to the bar. She said in front of everyone “I don’t deserve the abuse”. My dad then said “I would like a drink”. She said “I can’t do everything I’m the hostess and the bartender”. My dad said, “that’s not my fault, I drove 3 hours to come here for my daughters graduation “. Her and another patron said “you don’t need to yell” (my dad was not yelling). At this point we left. I was extremely frustrated because it was supposed to be a special night, I made reservations and they “lost them” or “had no record of them” but I wasn’t given an answer when I asked how long ask the attitude was terrible. In my opinion this was absolutely ridiculous and...
Read moreMy mom and I have been here for lunch twice in the past two weeks. We have so far only ordered from their daily special lunch menu which changes everyday. There are about 5 items on this menu, which include a cup of soup, also changing daily, for $9. Can't beat THAT price! We had shrimp scampi and chicken salad sandwich last Friday with New England clam chowder. Scampi was a good-size portion of linguine with garlicky butter sauce and 4 medium-size shrimp. Very tasty. Mom's chicken salad was served in a croissant with so much filling it was too big to pick up and eat so she had to start with a fork. She had a small side of tater tots as her potato choice. She said all was very good.
Today we both had chicken parmesan. I had butternut squash soup; She had French onion. Squash soup was thick and very good. Onion soup had lots of onions in every spoonful and was very flavorful. Chicken parmesan was a full chicken breast, breaded and crispy coated, covered in parmesan, served on spaghetti with marinara. I finished it but was stuffed. Mom took half of hers home.
We've only had lunch here twice so can't comment on the dinner menu, but if it's this good, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Be aware of the slightly odd hours. They're closed Sunday and Monday, open for lunch 11-2, and then reopen for dinner at 4 with different closing times depending on the day. Also if you use the handicap entrance with the ramp, the door is locked so you need to call to have someone unlock it. Parking is behind...
