As a younger person the opportunity or need to sell precious jewelry has only presented itself 3 times. The first was over a decade ago here at JRSi entered intimidated, and naïve without a clue what a good price would be & left not knowing if I had gotten a fair deal yet satisfied that I was treated kindly baby the informative gentleman behind the counter . Before leavingI browsed his small, yet eclectic inventory and h I’d return in the future to own one or two of the unique items in his case.

My second experience was at a shop in Brookfield where I felt like a number, they took my items in back and came back with an offer that seemed on the low end of the going price for gold at the time. I left there unsure if I had received a good deal, sick, and unsatisfied.

JRS weighed everything in front of me and explained the reasoning behind the current Valerie of both the metals and the stones I had brought in to sell so i I chose to return to him for my third sale. It was nice to return to a familiar place and be greeted by the same helpful gentleman who I met 10 years prior. He was even more helpful the second time around. He even encouraged me to keep certain pieces that held sentimental value, an unlikely quality b for anyone who is in business just to make money. Before leaving, I browsed again and was able to purchase a fantastic ring that I will keep for a lifetime and plenty of new information about previous stones and metal along with many useful facets of the industry.

I took in several pieces of jewelry to have items repaired! The same day I went in Mark was cordial and willing to assist me. He replaced the clasp on one of my necklaces the same day and offered a fair price. He then gave me a timeframe in which the rest of the items would be repaired and available for pick up. The prices offered for repair were also reasonable and fair. When I went to pick my pieces up they were appropriately repaired and super shiney. He cleaned the items and they looked beautiful.

I work lots of hours and my schedule was complicated but he worked with me to schedule a time I could meet with him.

With the price of gold as high as it is, I brought some old jewelry here to sell. The gentleman is as honest and fair and genuinely pleasant as all the other reviewers say. This was a great experience. Some jewelry had a little bit of sentimental value (although the $ value outweighed that). This gentleman is friendly and kind. He explained everything about what I had, what it is worth retail, what he will do with it, etc. I know he gave me the highest price of any other dealer in the Racine-Milwaukee area.
