I try to leave positive reviews as much as possible because the world is flooded with negative reviews so this does pain me to do so. My family went to this location tonight for dinner. When we arrived it was clear they were extremely busy. Drive thru line very long, parking lot packed. I've worked in food service before on a Friday night and totally understood our food would take some time as it was clearly busy. The girl that took my order working the middle register was perfectly fine and was handling the dinner rush with a smile spite the stressful situation. What bothered me from the beginning was the young girl on the end right register. She was taking her time with what appeared to be a group of her peers. Laughing giggling not trying to move them along one bit and it was clear there were other customers waiting to order, and a window full of hot food needing to go out, while about 10 people stood watching her while waiting for there food. She had to have spent 10 minutes taking her friends orders. The girl in the middle that took my order for my family of 5 did it in a fraction of time it took this girl on the right end to take her friends order. What really set me off was when I made it to the dining room this same cashier was standing at the table of her friend's laughing with her phone out taking selfies with the table. EVERY TABLE in the dining room was dirty, and my family was sitting at a dirty table. I'm sorry but that is NOT a good look during a major dinner rush to have your cell phone out taking selfies with your friends when people are sitting at dirty tables and there is a window full of food needing to be ran out. I approached this young lady while amongst her friends and asked her for a rag to wipe a table so my family could have a clean place to eat, and she was also the same employee to run our food and basically dropped the tray on the table. Any food service job I ever had the manager would have lost it over anyone simply pulling a phone out during a massive rush like that. If an employee has time to stand around laughing and joking with friends taking selfies, there should be time for tables to be cleaned so customers do not have to sit and eat at dirty tables. "You got time to lean, you got time to clean" I had no problem with the cashier that took my order she was lovely, I had no problem with the wait it was very busy. I had a problem with the young lady who found the time to goof off with her friends during what appeared to be a peak dinner period but couldn't find the time to help out with cleaning the dining area for customers to have a clean place to eat, and slammed our food on the table because I interrupted her social hour with her friends by asking her for a rag to wipe...
Read moreThat food was really good but, the service wasnt. I've never eaten at any culvers location prior to this, but when I stepped into the restaurant it was fairly busy and everyone seemed attentive. When I walked up to the register to place my order the cashier was nice and had a smile on his face. He wrapped up my order handed me a cup and my number. Then I walked to get my drink from the fountain and proceeded to find a spot to sit. Once I did I noticed the server bring the older gentleman behind me his meal, politely ask him if there was anything else she could get him, and walked away. Then I noticed one of the people behind the counter that was directly in my veiw staring at me, I shrugged it off and kept scrolling through my phone. But I kept glancing up and noticing that a lot of the staff would stare at me and many of the customers did as well. I'm not a loud person and I try to be polite as possible esspecially when in a restaurant because I've worked at places like this before and can understand how stressful this job can be at times. Once I noticed the same employee bringing my tray to me. I moved my belongings aside and then she kind of dropped the tray on the table, turned around and walked away with no words said to me or not even a glance at me. Although the burger was good it looked like it was half way slapped together and the fries thrown on top. Being starred at and being disrespected are some of my biggest pet peeves. I understand that I don't look like a local, but I'm not unusual dressed, I'm not making any scene, nor was I being impolite to anyone. As I proceeded to fix the plate that was thrown in front of me and eat. I kept feeling burning eyes from both employees and a few customers. I haven't felt this uncomfortable in a long time. So I finished my burger took a sip of my rootbeer and the left in a hurry. The food was really good, but I give this restaurant 2 stars because of how...
Read moreUpdate 2024 I'm speaking to the manager and employees of this location. Do you hate your customers? Don't bother answering because it's very obvious you do. I keep coming back hoping you will redeem yourselves and you never do. You continue to get orders wrong. Tonight I asked for two cheese butterburgers, both the same toppings except the difference on one of them was onions. Both were wrong. Nowhere near what I wanted. The fries tasted and looked like they were fried and either reheated or refried because they were very dark and extra crispy. I've complained a few times before and I will not do it again. Because the result is the manager giving me a bunch if coupons for a $1 off for custard. Making it right would be giving me the order I asked and paid for or a refund. Not coupons so I can spend more of my money at your location. Just close down because you are a disgrace to the Culvers family.
Update 2023 The most recent visit was the most upsetting though. Again, we didn't get our custard and told the employee we should have two dishes with 2 scoops of the flavor of the day. He comes back with one single dish, I then explain to him again what we ordered. He comes back with two single dishes and for a 3rd time I had to say what we ordered and eventually got what we asked for. We get home and of course, the food is wrong. We had bacon on both burgers, didn't order bacon. One burger had Swiss cheese, didn't order that. My burger had one single piece of onion on it when I asked for onions. Neither burger had any condiments on them when we asked for them. I didnt want to drive back to complain because the food would have been cold and we wouldn't have eaten together. It's upsetting this place has gone down hill, seems like that is the trend...
