Terrible customer service. My husband and I just left this location without buying a mattress because the employee who worked there, didn’t get his name, but he was a tall white male with tattoos on his hand, was rude, condescending, and argumentative. I asked for a print out of the prices so that I could think about it at home. Rather than politely explaining that he cannot print a quote to avoid me taking it to a competitor, which is fair of him, he condescendingly told me that he can’t do that because he doesn’t work for his competitor, he won’t do that, and he KNOWS why I want that information and he’s not going to do it. When I said that was an insult to my integrity, and that I just wanted to remember the price differences between king and queen to determine if I want to upgrade, he continued his nasty, entitled tone, and said that perhaps I’m projecting psychological issues on him. I said that I could go to any other mattress firm and get the same deal, so what was the incentive for him to be disrespectful to his customers? He continued to argue with me and we left without making a purchase. It was honestly baffling. My wife & I have been in the market for a new mattress & walked into this location on a whim when we were going for a sandwich next door. Mike, the salesman, was exceptional at every point in the transaction. From helping baseline our preferences and needs, educating us on the nuances of each of the mattress, and helping us get the best possible deal when we had picked our favorite, we felt completely taken care of. He was patient with us at every step, never pushy, and seemed truly invested in us ending up with a product we loved. He was successful & we are now loving our new mattress!

I was given Mattress Firm from a friend and I was not disappointed! I was very educated about the product by the time I left. Ray at the Farmington Hills location was amazing, knew his products and was very helpful in picking out a mattress for my 11 year old son. He did not push me into something high priced and I left feeling that I got a great deal on what I had purchased. I even went back and got another bed for my mom and he made it so easy even when I had gotten to the store close to closing time. It was so nice to not have to go to one of the big name stores, that come along with all the hassle. Everything went as planned and the delivery guys for both of the mattresses went smooth.
