With all the rave reviews, figured it would be safe. Even a neighbor said it was good. We had a group of five, all with years of food service experience.

Penny Puffs: we figured this would be like donut holes. It was but expect heavy dense yeast dough fried and rolled in cinnamon sugar. No one liked these. Zero stars.

Scone: aka Indian Fry Bread or bannok. This was hot, light and crispy, just as a flat fried bread should be. It was served original with honey butter and powdered sugar. Every one liked this. For the price it should have been bigger. Four stars.

Fried potatoes: these were in three of the entree plates. These were old and stale and no seasoning! Fried potatoes should be cooked to order! Do not bulk fry and then keep in a holding cabinet or under lights. Disgusting! Negative one star.

Pancakes/hotcakes: These were heavy, thick, dense and chewy. One plate came as a side for eggs Benedict, the other plate was ordered as an entree with strawberries and whipped cream. The whipped cream was fresh, but needed some vanilla and sugar in it. The strawberries were sliced thinly and not enough of them. Nobody liked the pancakes, too heavy to enjoy. Zero stars

Biscuits and gravy: when this plate was set before me, I knew immediately it was a mistake. It was two frozen biscuits cut in half and smothered to death with CANNED sausage gravy. The biscuits were definitely not made in the restaurant, they tasted of freezer, ands were factory made ands had that nasty factory made flavor. The gelatinous mess called gravy tasted like the can it came out of. The sausage was mushy, as expected from a can. They put the biscuits on the plate, covered with the gravy and MICROWAVED IT! I could tell it was microwaved because one biscuit I couldn’t even cut through, another one was too hot and the other two were barely warm. I did eat some of this and regretted it. I ended up with a stomach ache and diarrhea. Thanks, no thanks. Negative five stars.

Breakfast sandwich: on a stale old soggy croissant. The egg was cooked over easy, should have been over medium. The bacon was alright, the cheese was not. The egg squirted everywhere when the sandwich was bitten. The sandwich was disgusting, she tried to eat it, but barely ate a third of it. Zero stars

PAC Benedict: How could you mess up a traditional American dish this badly? The croissant was stale and gross, not toasted and topped with thick slice of ham, bacon, poached egg, and some sorry excuse of hollandaise sauce. The ham should have been thinner. The egg was not cooked enough. A properly poached egg has the white cooked entirely, and the yoke is runny. This hollandaise sauce tasted like thickened chicken broth. Hollandaise sauce should be light and have a fresh lemon taste. I have nine children, and can bang this traditional American dish out for them in 15-20 minutes. That includes cooking the bacon or ham, toasting fresh English muffins, poaching the eggs, and making hollandaise from scratch. Putting it all together on nine plates and giving a light dusting of paprika. You can make hollandaise in bulk and keep in the fridge, and pull out what is needed. But honestly making a batch of hollandaise for the day, and possibly needing to make more isn’t hard. This disgusting version of eggs Benedict was a sad mistake to order. It has been requested that the first meal I make when we get home from this trip is Traditional Eggs Benedict. Negative five stars.

For a place that says they make everything from scratch. They lied. They don’t. Four out of the five of us got a stomach ache, and one person diarrhea from eating here. They need to be honest about their food. It was gross. We were planning to make this our breakfast place. But no thank you. We will avoid it completely. We...

This is a disappointing review to have to leave because we really wanted to enjoy this place, but we have to be honest. It's a Saturday, so the place was busy, which is to be expected. My husband and I reasonably waited 35 min for a table. But when it was time for us to be seated, the host slipped the menus onto the table and continued walking without saying a word. I nearly continued to follow her in a circle back to the front because it wasn't clear that was supposed to be our table. But we sat down and were able to order fairly promptly. I got a cup of coffee, and my husband and I asked to share a Florentine Benedict and a cup of oatmeal. Very small order. 40 minutes ticked by and not a single person checked on us. My coffee emptied and no one offered to refill it. We decided to flag down our waitress to suggest perhaps we had been forgotten because we had watched multiple tables that were seated after us be served, eat, and leave while we waited. The waitress seemed completely unsuprised, offered no apology and no coffee refill, but agreed to go check on our food. She came back and informed us that our ticket was "fourth in line". We asked her how long that would take and she said she didn't know but that the kitchen was very busy. We then had to ask to get the order to go because we only had a small window of time to be out. (We are caregivers for my mom in her advanced stages of dementia and our kind neighbor had offered to sit with her this morning to give us a chance to get out together. But it was approaching the lunch hour, and we needed to get back home and attend my mom.) Just wish we hadn't chosen this restaurant for that time away, which is really rare for us these days. Within 6 minutes, our single entree order was finally ready to go. Our waitress offered only excuses for the busy kitchen and handed us the check. My husband asked to speak to the manager who continued to give excuses for the busy kitchen and told him we shouldn't have come on a Saturday because that's their busiest day (as if we get a choice in when we get to leave the house). We can understand a busy kitchen, but the fact that tables were continuing to be served that were seated well after us, and we only ordered a single entree, we knew it was a mistake. But they wouldn't admit to that. The manager gave us $5 off the order, which came to $20 after tip. She also gave us two more $5 vouchers to use any time... better not be on a Saturday, though! I'm just grateful we didn't try to bring my mom with us, the chaos would not have been worth it. We were super hangry when we left with our to-go order. Got home to eat it, and the poached eggs are stiff and overcooked. Pancakes cold. Just not worth the $20 we spent for the hour and a half plus we wasted for this miserable experience. Abig part of me wonders if they wanted us to get frustrated and just leave since we had such a small order not worth their time and energy for such a small tip. Anyway, that really sucked. I hope our day...

My husband and I went for breakfast early in the morning so it was pretty empty when we arrived. The food came quickly, but it tasted like it was made the night before so I’m not surprised. This really was the WORST food I have eaten in a long time. I ordered a veggi omelette, received a totally different omelette, would have complained but after visualizing the nasty plastic appearance of what I was brought I knew the food quality wasn’t going to get much better. A few things should be noted about my omelette: it looked like it was cooked a day prior and left to steam in a tray, the eggs looked and tasted fake (crepe thin, looked like the webbing between duck feet), the cheese was not shredded but sliced and it was congealed in a greasy mess inside the omelette , and the bell peppers either were or tasted like canned green chilies. My husband ordered the famous pancakes which were very raw inside and he got batter on his thumb after touching them. The potatoes were barely room temperature and hard. They reminded me of what I would find if I had left breakfast potatoes in my car overnight and then tried to warm them in the microwave as leftovers. The ONLY edible item we were given was the piece of sausage. That actually tasted good and was cooked…though it too was barely warm. I truly wonder if anything is actually being cooked in the kitchen or if it’s all being shipped in, precooked and then warmed somehow. Truly disgusting! I was sick and vomiting almost immediately after I got back home. As for the service that too was underwhelming. The server was friendly-ish. She didn’t seem to care, or even seem surprised that we ate less than 10% of our food. I did tell her it was awful so I guess she just figured she should bring the check and take the food away. Maybe it’s normal for people to eat almost none of their meal? I guess I learned my lesson and now I will never eat...

I’m gonna be honest here, I was super excited to try this place out because it was recommended to me by a lot of people. The service was super quick and they were friendly. The food though, that is a different story entirely. To start we ordered the scone and some of the penny puffs, they were pretty good. It’s really hard to go wrong with fried bread. I ordered the PAC Benedict. A classical American dish of poached eggs, served on an English muffin with Canadian bacon and topped with a hollandaise sauce. What I was served was FAR from eggs bene in both terms of presentation AND flavor. To start the sauce is SUPPOSED be made with lemon juice and egg yolk. What I got was chicken broth with flour and what tasted like a touch of pre made scrambled eggs from a carton. It gelled up on my plate and curdled! Not thickened like you would expect from a hollandaise sauce. The bacon and eggs were cooked nicely, but it was served on a ham STEAK and a soggy Costco croissant! You could taste that the potato’s were freezer burned and what little of the croissant that wasn’t soggy was stale, not like toasted stale, like it had been sitting out on the counter stale. I was told everything was made in house, but I could tell my toast was the Costco sour dough loaf. This is a diner you’d think they’d be able to make a classic American dish. When I received my food it was cold, like it had sat on the counter before getting put in the window to be served. Absolutely NOT WORTH the price for the quality. We we’re gonna be using this restaurant for breakfast on each day of our trip, but we will NOT be returning!
