I woke up this morning, polished my gun, sprayed down my trailer and big hound dog, and realized I didnāt have no gosh darn bacon. I hopped in my 1998 Dodge Ram 2500HD and took a trip on down to find me some eggs. All at once, while I was getting a hot dog at Common Cents, I saw Ramblinā Roads. I thought, āWhat place could have such an amazing, classy name?ā I thought about going home to get my sport coat before I graced this establishment, but I decided my overalls were just fine. As soon as I opened the door, I was greeted with a woft of cigarette smoke - the good Marlboro Red kind. I made my way upstairs and ordered. Thank god, I thought, they use Folgerās coffee! They were also so perceptive to see a big old hick like me doesnāt like his water refilled. Iām a one-and-done guy when it comes to water. I drink it in the first 2 minutes, and never want a refill or to be asked about one. Iāve been called the camel of the south. These servers must have psychology degrees, because they never asked or brought new water. When they brought out my scone, it tasted like $2 canola oil. Yum! They also brought me a big burrito with sauce that wasnāt even warm. Bigger yum! They also knew I donāt like cooked bacon, but prefer the good old microwaved stuff. Nothing crumbles in your mouth quite like it, besides a dirt clod. Reminds me of my youth. Where was I? Oh, yes. When all was said and done, they brought me the wrong check and I got to pay for a prostituteās family meal. What a great place. On my way out, nobody said thank you or offered a smile. It reminded me of my father and beautiful west-side trailer park. So yeah, Iād say I love this place. I canāt wait to bring the old lady and my unwashed kids back tomorrow so the whole family can be disrespected and have a week...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreRamblinā Roads in Bountiful reliably and quickly delivers outstanding service and lots of really good food with a perfectly home-cooked vibe! Very fast service and delivery of your order to your table. All food is so fresh and they actually make their own fruit jams/spreads, perfect salsa verde, and their signature gigantic fresh scones. Best breakfasts (huge) Iāve eaten anywhere, their steak and eggs, southwest chicken fried steak and eggs, and smothered salsa verde breakfast burritos are each so good itās hard to decide what to order, and they have so much more. The fruit stuffed French toast, fresh fruit crepes, waffles, pancakes and scones are all very popular with adults and kids alike. And, while they have a variety of exceptionally good very large burgers, many other sandwiches and salads for lunch, and a very good dinner menu, we love that you can order any of their breakfasts anytime throughout the day and evening! Servings are extremely generous and their breakfasts can pretty much carry you through the day. Their āgirl next doorā Servers have amazing attitudes, especially Ashlee, Genna, Kim, Shay, Zuly, well all of them really! Kayla, Jeremy, Jacklyn, Braxton, John, and Jorge each bring so much to their outstanding team. Iām not related to any of them, but they each treat you like youāre family and a friend. This, plus the superb quality of their food is why I visit Ramblinā Roads in Bountiful very frequently. Do yourself and those close to you a favor! Give Ramblinā Roads in Bountiful a try, they may quickly become your...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWeāve been long time customers of Ramblin Roads and have loved and raved about their food for years, we drive 45 minutes just to eat here! However, weāve been here twice since the new Layton location opened up and the owner is no longer on site at the Bountiful location anymore, and the food is seriously disappointing compared to two years ago... They no longer serve the Ramblin Potatoās with peppers and onions, you now have to ask for it and itās an up charge. They are also not made the way they used to be, they were very overcooked (mushy), didnāt have a crisp bite to them and are bland as ever. The very large onions slices werenāt even cooked they were just thrown on top. We also ordered the California Eggs Benedict, the eggs were so over cooked they had the texture of hard boiled eggs. We waited 10 minutes for our server to come back to order new eggs, which took another couple of minutes, by the time they came the food was cold. The new eggs were super watery, it completely spoiled my husbands appetite. They also threw half an avocado on top, (couldnāt be bothered to slice it like they used to). I got the smothered breakfast burrito, which was alright but had very little Chile verde, the tortilla was soggy and all the bacon inside was burnt. All in all we paid $45 for a highly disappointing meal. Weāre really bummed, Ramblin Roads has seriously lost...
