Franco's Pizzeria & Ristorante — Restaurant in West Caldwell

The customer service skills was horrible and mean. While on our family winter vacation with my 2 children we walked in and sat at the counter. The children asked do you have a lunch special and got no answer is asked and got no answer she dropped menu's in front of us and walk away I shuck that off she came back and my son asked if there was mountain dew and got no answer. I ordered and we sat and people walked in after us and got served before us she never smile or even talk to us people all around us are getting their food but us I don't know if it was a raceial thing as we were African-American or she was just bad at her job. The Mexican men cooking in the kitchen did not have on gloves or a hair net my daughter pointed out to me and ask why as she show me he press the bell with the spatula she said in FL they wear blue gloves they don't have them in NJ. Children are so smart these days but my children was sad they were so excited to eat New Jersey Pizza but was hurt that every one around them was getting their pizza before them we left paid for our drinks this is the worst restaurant i have ever been to do not go their the people working their do not have good restaurant food safety health practice and the...

I must take this opportunity to acknowledge Francos Pizza and Restaurante for converting me into a steady customer...I have lived in the West Caldwell Caldwell area for a good number of years but have always gone to the places I've been loyal to...I just relocated my work profession 3 months close to home and needed a place that had decent food...was I surprised after placing an order for my lunch..and after taking the 1st bite I was sold..That has been my go to sandwich every day..Ialso have tried there Margarita pie and Sq Geandma pie really good..The owner and staff are all very friendly and greet you wirh a warm smile and a nice hello...A special hello to Grace who's smile brightens the room..Thank you everyone I appreciate your...

• WARNING : COUNT YOUR CHANGE EVERY TIME THE MIDDLE AGED STOCKY GUY RINGS YOU UP • More than once he has short changed me. Just the other day I was in a rush and it slipped my mind to count my change while at the counter, however, when I walked back to my car I remembered to count my change and discovered he ripped me off for a five, again. Unfortunately, there are no repercussions except when I bring it to his attention he innocently apologizes and corrects what appears to be an innocent mistake. However, he has done this more than once and has even tried to ring me up twice for the same order.
