⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sophia Is the Heart and Soul of McAlister’s, Give This Woman a Raise!!!!!

I’ve been to McAlister’s Deli plenty of times, but I’ve never seen anyone as impressive as Sophia. She is hands down the most professional, knowledgeable, and talented cook I’ve ever met, and that’s not an exaggeration. The way she handles herself in the kitchen, you can tell she’s built different. She doesn’t just make food; she creates an experience.

Everything Sophia touches turns into perfection. The sandwiches are built like artwork, the soups are always spot on, and every plate that leaves her station looks like something out of a commercial. She moves with confidence, knows every recipe like the back of her hand, and keeps everything clean, calm, and efficient even when the place is slammed. That’s rare these days, real professionalism mixed with pure passion.

What I love most, though, is her energy. Sophia brings warmth and positivity to the entire deli. She treats every customer with respect, every coworker with patience, and every task with pride. She makes McAlister’s feel like more than just a restaurant, it feels like a place where people care.

Let’s be honest, Sophia deserves a raise. If management doesn’t give her one soon, she should honestly just go run her own restaurant, because she has everything it takes. I’d follow her wherever she goes. The girl’s got leadership, skill, and the kind of work ethic that inspires everyone around her. She could restart a whole business from the ground up and it would thrive.

McAlister’s, if you’re reading this, please realize what you have in Sophia. She’s not just an employee, she’s an asset. People come back because of people like her. She makes this place better every single day, and she deserves to be recognized, rewarded, and appreciated for it.

Sophia, if you ever open your own spot, just know you already have a loyal customer right here. You’re one...

I have been to this restaurant several times - each time having a "SO SO" experience. and each time thinking that I picked a weak menu item. - I'm one to always give a business a few chances just in case they're working out operational issues or may have a weak item. After today's experience, I will not be going back - I ordered their Berry Nut Salad and a cup of chili and my wife ordered the tortilla soup and french dip sandwich. - lunch was horrible! - the salad was mostly just lettuce with few berries and nuts - there were no other elements to round out the salad - no carrots, tomatoes, onions, etc., Just lettuce, a few strawberries a few nuts and strawberry halves - The chili was watery, with no beans, tomatoes, onions, and no chunks of meat - I could have drank it with a straw.. My Wife's Chicken Tortilla Soup had one small chunk of chicken in it and that's it - the soup was thick and starchy and was served with about 9 nacho chips on the side which was to be added to the soup - she didn't. The beef on the french dip was dry. Two Thumbs Down for McAllisters Deli on Cox Rd. in...

I love eating here but over the past two years food has kinda just started getting a bit worse and worse I ordered a Rubin sandwich, and a soup, mind you I’ve ordered it for the past 2 years every time I come in but the past 4 times I had it they have been extremely cold, as well with the soup was watered down, I was exited to have a warm soup and a warm sandwich, with the cold weather, I typically don’t do reviews, but today I didn’t have a great experience with the food everyone was amazing here but the food isn’t the best anymore I did a order online, then I got the wrong soup and sandwich even tho in the bag it said my name and exactly what I ordered, I didn’t have a problem with it but it doesn’t meet my standards for the food, it was amazing last year but this year it’s going downhill, expect great service and amazing people, food isn’t as good as it was before. I have no problem coming in again but not for the Rubin anymore. Or for the soup, other than that the cashier...

The wait to order was extremely long as there was only one person taking the orders consistently. Another person would occasionally step up to take orders as well. The restaurant was very busy and the cooks were working hard to keep up. The restaurant was extremely dirty with empty butter packages and empty cracker wrappers on the floors. However the ladies restroom was disgusting. (See attached photos) I brought it to the attention of one of the female cashiers but nothing was done about the cleanliness by the time we left the restaurant. This store needs more help and better cleanliness.

Last minute Door Dash. Got a BLT with avocado and a french dip sandwich and a side of mac and cheese. They forgot the cup of au jus for the french dip, which is what makes it a french DIP! My BLT was terrible... microwaved super thin bacon, bad tomatoes, wilted lettuce, maybe 3 slices of avocado... but the coup de grace of this bad meal... check out the less-than-half full cup of mac and cheese. I know it looks half eaten, it's not, this is exactly what I saw when I took the lid off. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because at least I got some calories in me!
