âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸ Sophia Is the Heart and Soul of McAlisterâs, Give This Woman a Raise!!!!!
Iâve been to McAlisterâs Deli plenty of times, but Iâve never seen anyone as impressive as Sophia. She is hands down the most professional, knowledgeable, and talented cook Iâve ever met, and thatâs not an exaggeration. The way she handles herself in the kitchen, you can tell sheâs built different. She doesnât just make food; she creates an experience.
Everything Sophia touches turns into perfection. The sandwiches are built like artwork, the soups are always spot on, and every plate that leaves her station looks like something out of a commercial. She moves with confidence, knows every recipe like the back of her hand, and keeps everything clean, calm, and efficient even when the place is slammed. Thatâs rare these days, real professionalism mixed with pure passion.
What I love most, though, is her energy. Sophia brings warmth and positivity to the entire deli. She treats every customer with respect, every coworker with patience, and every task with pride. She makes McAlisterâs feel like more than just a restaurant, it feels like a place where people care.
Letâs be honest, Sophia deserves a raise. If management doesnât give her one soon, she should honestly just go run her own restaurant, because she has everything it takes. Iâd follow her wherever she goes. The girlâs got leadership, skill, and the kind of work ethic that inspires everyone around her. She could restart a whole business from the ground up and it would thrive.
McAlisterâs, if youâre reading this, please realize what you have in Sophia. Sheâs not just an employee, sheâs an asset. People come back because of people like her. She makes this place better every single day, and she deserves to be recognized, rewarded, and appreciated for it.
Sophia, if you ever open your own spot, just know you already have a loyal customer right here. Youâre one...
Read moreI have been to this restaurant several times - each time having a "SO SO" experience. and each time thinking that I picked a weak menu item. - I'm one to always give a business a few chances just in case they're working out operational issues or may have a weak item. After today's experience, I will not be going back - I ordered their Berry Nut Salad and a cup of chili and my wife ordered the tortilla soup and french dip sandwich. - lunch was horrible! - the salad was mostly just lettuce with few berries and nuts - there were no other elements to round out the salad - no carrots, tomatoes, onions, etc., Just lettuce, a few strawberries a few nuts and strawberry halves - The chili was watery, with no beans, tomatoes, onions, and no chunks of meat - I could have drank it with a straw.. My Wife's Chicken Tortilla Soup had one small chunk of chicken in it and that's it - the soup was thick and starchy and was served with about 9 nacho chips on the side which was to be added to the soup - she didn't. The beef on the french dip was dry. Two Thumbs Down for McAllisters Deli on Cox Rd. in...

I have no problem coming in again but not for the Rubin anymore. Or for the soup, other than that the cashier...
