I used to stop at this Starbucks regularly before their construction but ever since they reopened, I have been thoroughly unsatisfied. The new design is meant to increase turnover- there is one table, no bathroom and rarely an employee at the front register. The general vibe is “take you order and get out,” making the atmosphere super unappealing and a good way to make the customer feel unappreciated. Today I ordered a mobile order while I was sitting at traffic light, as I do to check that the items I want are in stock, as they are regularly out of items I want. I decided to pick up my mobile order in the drive thru and upon giving my name, the employee told me I should wait 10min before trying to pick up a mobile order and seemed annoyed that I was trying to pick my order up soon (I understood it might not be ready as I just placed the order but thought it would be no different than ordering at the speaker). They asked me to pull around front and come inside. Normally I have my two young children with me and this would’ve made me extremely upset as I would’ve had to get them out of their car seats and carry them inside (in the rain) to get my drink that I already sat in the drive thru to wait for and would’ve preferred to wait for it in my car, as that is why I chose to use the drive thru in the first place. There was one car in front of me and this is just bewildering to me because I don’t understand why my ordering through the app and waiting for my item like the car in front of me. I’ve never experienced issues ordering through the app and picking up in the drive thru at this location in the past or at any other location. When I got inside I asked the person who handed me my drinks why I couldn’t have just waited in the drive thru and he said because my drinks weren’t ready yet. I’m not sure if this has to do with a timer they have on turnover of cars in the drive thru but regardless this is not how you treat customers. It was bad enough that corporate made the new layout of this location in a way that made it clear they did not want customers to be there any longer than it takes to grab their items but for the employees to also treat me differently than someone who just orders at the drive thru just seems ridiculous and...
Read moreI came in a day or two ago and had truly the best experience a mother could ask for. My beloved daughter is special needs and she is my whole world. Making trips out can sometimes be hard especially very busy places like this store but she wanted a drink. We came in and was greeted by the barista and I hope her management sees this because she is truly a godly person. She was patient with my daughter, treated her like any other child. She let her order for herself. She saw my daughter eyeing the cake pop and bought one for her when my gift card couldn't cover it. I am so grateful. Her name was Rene or Ryan. Beautiful young lady. She made the drinks and saw my daughter trying to watch so she moved over and made the drinks closer and slower to entertain my daughter. She loved every minute. Rene also figured out the blender was upsetting my daughter with her sensory issues and moved the blender over and then when she used it would get my daughters attention and focus it else where so she could relax. I was in tears with her kindness and devotion to my daughter to provide a great experience for her. Rene was amazing. She wrapped the milkshake in napkins so the cold wouldn't hurt my daughter as well. I hope someone in their corporate sees this review. This kindness needs to be recognized and i know from being in there before that this new barista is kind and loving to every person that enters the door. God bless her...
Read moreI'm writing this review from my place in the drive thru line, the place I've been holding for 20 minutes. After an extremely long wait I was finally able to begin my order. Upon ordering the breakfast sandwiches my family has been waiting 20 minutes to order, the person in the other end of the speaker laughed. She said Let me go check and returned 2 minutes later to ask if that would be all. At this point we hadnt ordered our coffee yet. So we begin to order our coffee and another person comes on the speaker and says wait a minute she has to throw in your sandwiches. She had walked away without even allowing us to finish our order. We ordered 3 coffees and then she had to go check on the orange juice we ordered for our youngest child while laughing yet again... This has been the most akward and unpleasant experience I've ever had at a Starbucks location and has certainly been the longest wait. Infact, I'm finishing my review as I sit here, still in line to pull up to the order window where I can only pray my order will be correct. My total wait time was 33 minutes for a drive thru order. This location needs...
