The young people working here are sweet, but God forbid if the manager is there and you tell her your drink is wrong or hot coffee is cold. She rolled her eyes at me, yelled loudly for the whole place to overhear, offered no apology or customer service, and I overheard her talking about me saying "it's no skin off my nose" when someone told her my drink wasn't good. I tried to politely reason with her, she yelled at me and told me I obviously didn't like it there and to never come back. It was my first time there and was literally in shock that this is the face of any company, let alone a coffee shop that is supposed to be a happy place. The day before the holiday, I left in total shock and tears. . It ruined a nice rare moment with my daughter, and was totally uncalled for.
Shout out to the young gentleman who would have retained a customer by encouraging me to give it another try when my hot drink was cold before the manager decided to burn it to the ground with her poor attitude and aggressive behavior. He should be manager and I pray the people working there don't get treated as poorly as the...
Read moreI've been coming to Crimson Cup for just about a year now. Crimson Cup's location is not exactly obvious from the road (747), and I suspect some people may be confused about what it is since it shares space with a credit union. It's not affiliated with the credit union, but those who know where Crimson Cup is, and what it is, know that its a neighborhood gem.
Crimson Cup has a nice selection of quick breakfast items, tea, and coffee. The service is friendly and on the ball. I enjoy being able to get a different kind of latte (ex. Hot Honey Lavender, Apple Pie Chai, etc.) every month or so that you don't find at most other chain coffeehouses. Nor does it have any feeling of assembly line rush or pretention.
Because the shop does share lobby space with the credit union, there's lots of space to spread out, from tables to booths, and a cute bar spot. There's free wifi and covered seating outdoors when the weather's nice. I'm not sure if they have a dog policy.
When you're in a hurry, there's an app to order ahead and a drive thru window. There's plenty of parking right in front. Come check...
Read moreWhat a nice coffee shop and the coffee they brew is really, really good. I'm a straight up Americano (black - no cream, sugar, or flavoring) so the taste of the coffee is really important to me. And since we were staying we got real mugs!! Score!! I'm not a paper cup lover when I'm sitting down in a cafe.
This coffee shop is an unusual setup but I really enjoyed the way it was laid out. It is combined with a credit union so it had ample seating, really nice little study booths, and a small conference room that could be utilized. My friend and I sat in very comfy leather chairs by a large window, and although there were plenty of other people there, we could hear each other well and couldn't hear other conversations. Maybe they utilize white noise - idk - but it was great to have a real chat in a coffee house and to also feel like we had some privacy.
We didn't eat anything today but I gave 5 stars because they serve Chubby Bunny bakery items - an allergy friendly, completely vegan & gluten free bakery located in Hamilton that is...
