I was pleasantly surprised. When I walked in I thought I made a mistake. It was a small restaurant and I saw no kids. I was expecting them not to be kid friendly. I was mistakenly. The are! They don't have a kids menu though...
Their food is a decent selection but not books of options. I like this. I don't like restaurants that have too many choices because how can the chef cook it all? Their menu is focused and delicious.
I have the classic Benny and it was awesome!
My eldest daughter have the cinimon swirl French toast and it smelt amazing. She side is was really good.
Their coffee mugs are all different which was really... Quaint? I don't know if that's the correct positive adjective but I found it charming and after my wife's heart (coffee mug obsession).
So, why 4 stars? No kids menu. You have to buy full meals for pint sized tummies. If they do have kids menus, they did not provide them.
Should you go? Yes. Parking is a challenge as it is like the heart of West Chester (there is a parking garage directly arround the corner) but you...
Read moreI am extremely frustrated with this establishment. I ordered two eggs with avocado and flank steak. I was never asked how I would like the flank steak prepared and when I tried to tell then they definitely ignored me. I go to pick up my food and the bag is leaking juice. I had to ask for utensils and I was handed a spoon and knife no cover in the woman's bare dirty hand. ( this woman takes all the payments) After asking for a new bag I saw a whole basket of sealed utensils which I showed her and was handed a pack. Now my eggs were good and the avocado fresh, but the steak is tough, flavorless aside from all the pepper. I wasted my money and I am extremely upset and regretting my decision to go here. I should of went to the Classic Dinner. The food is better and I am treated with respect. I paid good money for good food and respect sadly I didn't get either. I will not be...
Read moreMarket street grille has been a favorite of mine since January. I typically get one of their MTO omelettes and have yet to be let down.
Their staff is always so friendly and willing to help, and even when they’re super busy (tends to be on weekend mornings) they still try their best to help every guest.
My boyfriends favorite meal from there is the Bruno, and he has also never been disappointed by the quality of food.
I will say if you’re ordering on weekends (for takeout) call ahead to see when to pick it up as the websites time estimator isn’t always accurate but other than that it’s awesome. The one time I had came and waited 20 minutes for my takeout the lady was super sweet and took my phone number, and called me when it was ready rather than having me wait in store. She was super sweet and...
