Edit:

After our experience at STH, the owner reached out to us and we had one of the best dining experiences. The manager was attentive and courteous and our server, Jenna, was awesome. Will definitely be back soon to continue the fun times we have had here.

Sedona Taphouse is typically my go-to when I am looking for a nice place to eat in West Chester. Unfortunately, I will never be returning. I have eaten here multiple times since it opened about a year ago. Food is always good, but the drinks and bar service have been on a consistent decline since last summer. I’ve had the Lemon Basil Martini with more sour mix than any other liquid in the drink, it was disgusting. I also got an espresso martini with tons of coffee grounds in it and was one of the most watery drinks I have ever had. In our most recent experience, we sat at the bar and the bartender accused us of being under 21 (both of us are in our mid to late 20’s and once again have been here MULTIPLE times to eat and DRINK). We even had a police officer come and confirm that our ids were valid and still had service refused. The manager then tried to ID our friend we were meeting who had already been served without her ID being checked (same age as me). Seemed to me that they were spiraling and looking for any excuse to kick us out at of a nearly empty bar. As someone who was a bartender for over 5 years, l understand that all privately owned businesses reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, but both members of our party left this restaurant in tears. No one asked us for a second form of ID which we both had, but when tried to show the managers, they still refused. The managers of this place truly have no regard for human emotion and frankly seem to lack the common sense it takes to run a restaurant in a town where the demographic is mostly young adults in their early to mid-20’s. Overall, just grossly dissatisfied with the management. A simple ID scanner would have solved this entire issue, if the owner of this restaurant ends up reading this, I strongly suggest you make this investment (you would think that would also be common sense for a restaurant in a college town, but I guess not). This place has great potential, but would definitely opt for the Phoenixville location instead. Have absolutely loved the STHs’ I’ve been to before (in both CT and PA), but unfortunately, West Chester’s is an...

The atmosphere and place in general is nice but we rather come for good food and timely service. I’ll normally do 3or 4 drinks and I couldn’t even get a second before dinner came and at that point I’m to full to drink anymore. You can tell there isn’t enough staff to handle a Friday night dinner rush. 20 minutes for a first drink and the server even said something about it to us. To be clear the server is fine it seems the structure is wrong. 2 to 3 more expediters or helping hands would probably fix this.

To the food. We had high hopes but extremely disappointed. Someone in that kitchen likes their pepper bc the spicy marinara was way to peppery. Not spicy but you can taste the pepper. And I love pepper and it was too much for me. Same with the seaside you can taste the grittiness of too much seasoning.

The wings were the same way. Not what I was expecting at all. Too spicy and after burnt taste. Not saucy in the least bit which is what I was expecting.

This was a let down that I was not expecting which made this fall from expectations particularly hard.

Way to much seasoning. The food feels like it needs more balance. Something is just off.

Also a pound of wings??? Just say 10. Bc when only 9 comes out it’s annoying.

Also the beer seemed it was not as cold as it could be. Maybe a...

When people make your day you should share! My family and I planned a bday party for my mom and aunt and can not thank JEFF, STEVEN, OWEN, THE CHEFS AND THE TEAM AT THE FRONT DESK FOR AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE FROM START TO FINISH ON 10/09/22. The township was having an event which caused difficulty in finding parking and delayed everyone arriving exactly as scheduled. The host and hostess at the front desk ( there were 3) were very accommodating!! I apologized for the delay and they reassure me that everything was okay! I make every effort to be prompt, but due to the large event taking place the same day... I arrived a few mins after my reserved time. I asked them to bring out cake with lit candles shortly after our food was served and they happily accommodated! There were 15 people who attended the bday lunch party and every single order was CORRECT with no hiccups!!! Our food was hot and very tasty! Our seating was comfortable and the ambiance was stellar!! Sedona Taphouse assisted my family and I in making our mom and aunt's bday a day they will never forget!! Owen was Amazingggggggggg with a Capital A!! Checked on us when needed ( but not too much) and happily took care of every request!! He assisted us without skipping a beat!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU TO OWEN...

Sedona Tap House is the best venue in the amazing new 44 West complex in the corner of Gay and North Church Streets. We've been there several times for lunch and were impressed, so came in for dinner on a Sunday evening. The place was jamming! Both our Wagyu burgers were done exactly to our liking. We were surprised that a Sunday night would be so "lively", so we have decided to stay with a lunch time for better conversation. 😊 The menu and service are just as great. EDIT: Nov. 1, 2023. We have now been to S.T.H. half a dozen times. The food and service are always great and it's always busy. There is the only one negative, which has to do with the larger corporate model and not local management. Many newer, trendy restaurants tend to go for the industrial look with open factory ceilings, no carpeting, hard surfaces and no materials to absorb sound. We have always found the venue to be very loud and "live". Unless you come at an off hour (late lunch) the music and conversation are very loud. Our server didn't hear part of our order, and I missed one of his questions. Conversation is difficult. This is not where you would go for a romantic date.

New favorite!! There are lots of great places in downtown west chester to choose from. Sedona Taphouse is relatively new and we were excited to try it out. It didn't disappoint and we will definitely be back. They have awesome outdoor seating and plenty of room for large groups. We walked up and were easily seated outside. They were running happy hour from 4-6 PM and we took advantage of that trying their truffle fries, chips + guac and hummus plate. Appetizers were delicious. As a tap house they also had a wide selection of drink. Hundreds of beers to choose from and great cocktails. They were some of the most colorful and unique drinks I've ever seen. The Tropic Cannon beer from Heavy Seas was awesome as well. For dinner we had salmon, tacos, pork chops, salad and beyond burger. Each dish was flavorful and delicious. Service was above and beyond. Max was our waiter. He was kind, efficient, conversational, welcoming, and helpful. He made it an enjoyable experience. We will definitely be coming back to one of our new favorites in town!

Great start for a new restaurant! Prices on the menu were already pretty reasonable by recent standards seeing sky high food prices, so that made the decent prices even more impressive. We sat outside, and while they don’t have heaters or take outdoor reservations yet - there was ample room and open space. It’s a really nice outdoor patio. During the week, they have $5 cocktails during the 4-6 happy hour, and on Mondays they have a $10 Charity special for steak and garlic potatoes. It was delicious and a good size for only $10. We started with the nachos, a favorite in our family and they were excellent. The chips tasted house-made, and the pulled pork was excellent! I’d try that on a sandwich if it was offered it was so good. Would have loved even more cheese on them, ate them down to the last chip. Drinks were equally generous. Good pour for the wine and the lemon drop & Moscow mule I had for $5 each during happy hour hit the spot! After only being open for a week or so we’ll definitely be back.
