Don’t know what to get for lunch or dinner?! Come here :) it’s in Little Village. Everyone I brought here loves this place! Even my picky eaters (a.k.a my dad who was not in the making of this video) if you want my dad to review this place, comment on the video below. šŸ§”šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø Surcharges for certain combo entree items, so don’t hesitate to ask them, the workers are really nice-please tip them šŸ«¶šŸ¼. šŸ“£They also offer discounted milk teas or free food items when you spend $XX of dollars. Check out their menu for details. IYKYK: This use to be Chans Garden years ago. šŸ“£They offer lunch specials! & Tiki Hours (view their post here @aloha.hawaiianbbq.chi IG) āš•ļøThey have great drink alternatives for diabetics (25-100% sugar level adjustments. #chicagofood #hawaiianfood #chicagoeats

Amazing food that is worth the price! Highly recommend to bring friends and family to try! My experience here has been amazing so far! I have ordered food for pick up and dined in and every time the food was delicious. We ordered : Kalbi short Ribs Garlic Furikake Chicken šŸ«¶šŸ¼ Loco Moco Huli Huli Chicken Teriyaki Chicken Spam Musubi Passion fruit tea Strawberry something 😣 I forgot All the food we ordered was delicious, we actually got a couple of combo plates to try the different options. I will say that my personal favorite was the garlic chicken. It was just so crispy and light and I definitely would order a plate of that just alone. Each of the plates came with a macaroni salad and rice. We also got free Spam Musubi because we spent over $40 for our meal but they have other freebie options. Our total cost for all the food we got was about $80 for 4 people (we ate good!) not including tip. But just be aware that we ordered some combo plates to save us some money. Just be patient when waiting for your food. I actually enjoyed waiting because the current business location used to be another restaurant called Chan Garden and it was one of my favorite spots to get Chinese food but they had closed down many many many years ago so it’s really nice to see the space activated again. 🄸Honestly, maybe my only complaint is that I haven’t tried all the food and secondly they don’t slice the chicken (thigh cut) so when we try to cut it up using the plastic fork or knife it was a little bit harder. I don’t know if there’s a reason why they’re not cut up but it’s not so much of a complaint just like a technical thing. šŸ’–All in all, I’ll let the pictures do the talking and hopefully you enjoy the food as much as we did. āš•ļøIf you are diabetic, I would ask if you could adjust the sweetness of the drinks. I had toe taro milk tea at 50 % sweet and it was great :) I feel like if you get a combo plate or a regular platter, you can always save half for later to avoid glucose spikes but honestly, I didnt finish all of it and I was able to feel fine after so I think with this comment, it’s more about moderation without You Sacrificing quality delicious food.

I wanted to give this place a five star because it’s hard to find Hawaian food outside of Hawaii. We traveled from northeast Indiana to give this place a try at lunchtime. When you enter the restaurant you can order from the iPad or order from the cashier. We thought it would be easier to order from the iPad. I went with the barbecue plate which pretty much had everything. When I went to check out, the tip screen came up and my goal was not to give a tip because it was a counter service where you get your own food and bus your own trays. On the screen for tips there’s no option for zero unless you press other tip so I went ahead and didn’t press anything and press continue. I was surprised to be slapped with a 9% default tip. I feel that this is the restaurant up charging people without them realizing it because the tip screen at default should be zero. This is the main reason why I subtracted from the star rating. It just is a very shady way of doing business. The food took a little to prepare for our party of six. We did find that the food was tasty and large generous portions. We did drink a lot of water afterwards so maybe there was a lot of sodium or MSG flavoring in the food. If the owner is reading this, you really should change your practice on the iPad. There should not be a 9% service fee/tip because there is no service basically being rendered except for the food being cooked.

I recently had the pleasure of trying this place, and all the food was amazing.

Katsu Chicken: Absolutely delicious! The chicken was perfectly breaded and fried, with a tender and juicy interior. Make sure to dip in tonkotsu sauce for extra tangy and slightly sweet flavor.

Garlic Butter Shrimp: The shrimp were cooked to perfection—juicy and full of flavor. The garlic sauce was so good it made the bed of veggies extra tasty on the bottom.

Crab Rangoon: These were crispy, golden, and full of delicious crabmeat and cream cheese.

Spam Musubi: They make this so well. The Spam was savory and well-seasoned, paired with perfectly cooked sushi rice and nori.

Lychee Mango Smoothie: The perfect drink for the meal. The combination of lychee and mango was satisfying. Get lychee popping boba too.

Overall, this Hawaiian restaurant is fantastic. Each dish was authentic and bursting with flavor, making a delectable experience. Highly recommended for anyone craving a...
