Dugans — Restaurant in West Chicago Township

One of my favorite watering holes on nights when I'm not looking to get fancy and just want to unwind from the day to day grind. Beer and spirit selection is pretty decent, just don't expect a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle (a highly sought out whiskey) to appear out no where there. That's okay though, they have Jame-O and Knob Creek which is more than enough to get the party started... In moderation of course.

They have a TouchTunes system there so you can jam out to all the music you'd normally listen to on your phone, but now with everyone around you.j Sometimes the place has a live band, which is pretty awesome as they may take your song request.

People are generally friendly there, but if you don't feel like talking to people you can always bring man's best friend, dogs, to hang out with you. Drinking and dogs, it's a win win.

Dugan's also has free popcorn which you can jazz up with an assortment of spices and seasonings. On those lean nights before pay day, visit Dugan's get a beer and a popcorn which should satisfy you for the evening......

There is no real computer system for ringing up drinks so the bartenders make up their own prices. Super inconsistent $24 for 4 drinks turns into $30 without warning.

$60 for 4 well drinks and 2 shots. Super lame so watch them if you can find them. When you can’t you can assume they are probably spending your hard earned money as fast as they make it.

Stopped here for drinks while waiting for our reservation. Has a great Irish dive bar kind of feel for being right between the loop & west loop. I can imagine it can get busy for happy hour drinks, I was there when it was slow, but maybe more ideal for more intimate groups vs group functions since it has limited space & limited seating for big groups.
