For years, I've passed by the Iguana Cafe without ever taking the time to stop in. Recently, my newfound love for coffee and a craving for a crepe led me to this charming spot, and I hurried over with high hopes. The moment I stepped inside, I was struck by the cafe's beauty - it's a perfect setting for a romantic date night.
With my sights set on a Vanilla Latte and a crepe, I couldn't wait to dive in. Upon our arrival, the place was unusually quiet, with just us in attendance. As a newly converted "coffee" drinker, I found the latte to be quite good, although I'm still learning to discern the finer nuances.
Now, onto the crepe. I had a specific vision in mind - a delicate spread of Nutella, a scattering of strawberries and bananas, and just a light dusting of powdered sugar. Unfortunately, the execution didn't quite match my expectations. The amount of Nutella applied to the crepe was beyond generous - it felt like they emptied the entire jar onto it. It was overwhelming and ultimately led me to forgo eating the crepe altogether. It was a shame because if prepared as requested, it could have been absolutely fantastic.
While I chose not to send it back due to prior commitments, I was disappointed that such a simple order wasn't executed as desired. Crafting a crepe should be a straightforward affair, and I was mildly annoyed that I had to excavate so much Nutella. That said, I did catch a glimpse of their dinner menu, and it looks incredibly enticing.
In conclusion, the Iguana Cafe offers a picturesque setting and a menu that holds promise. With a minor hiccup in my order, I'm eager to return and sample their dinner fare, hoping for an experience that matches the cafe's...

This restaurant is an absolute gem for anyone who loves fresh, flavorful pasta and heavenly crepes! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, cozy ambiance that makes you feel right at home. The menu offers an incredible range of pasta dishes, each more delicious than the last. The sauces are rich, the pasta is perfectly cooked, and the portion sizes are generous without being overwhelming.
The crepes, though, are truly something special! Whether you’re in the mood for a savory option or a sweet treat, their crepes are expertly crafted and filled with the freshest ingredients. I tried the ham and cheese crepe, which was light, buttery, and delicious, followed by a Nutella and banana dessert crepe that was absolutely divine.
What sets this place apart is not just the food, but the attention to detail and excellent service. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and always ready to offer great recommendations. They clearly care about providing a memorable dining experience.

Read morei am unsure exactly what went so wrong with me and my boyfriends experience compared to everyone elses, but this was legit one of the WORST dining experiences we have ever had. the waitstaff were inattentive, rude/curt, couldnt bother to explain or answer any questions in regards to our allergies and dietary restrictions, or even the menu in general. we could barely ever get any help from our waitress. the set up of the restaurant felt like it was set up by 50 year old upper middle class white lady realtors with no real sense of design beyond vapid suburbanite decor. the killing blow was that the food was ice cold and terrible. my boyfriends sandwich in particular tasted like all the ingredients were freezerburned and had been sitting in the fridge for a few weeks too long. absolutely NOT fresh. when mentioning this to our waitress, she stared with empty eyes, took our plates to "heat them up", only for them to return 30 seconds later like she stuck them under the weak heat lamp before placing them down again. i have had better food at olive garden. this place was absolutely horrid and im surprised it still stands. all i hope is someone saves that...
