I’ve actually visited this bar countless times in the past couple years and have never felt so disrespected. Not only did I let the bartender know that the drinks we ordered tasted overly juice-heavy, but multiple patrons who I didn’t know had the same complaint. Yet when the issue was raised, we were belittled and ultimately chased out of the bar by the supposed “bar manager” with bangs and a ponytail. Stopped by Rebel & Rye over on Grand Ave last weekend, and man, this spot's got that cozy, rustic vibe down pat. The wooden beams and warm lighting make it feel like a little slice of the South right here in Chi-Town. Tried their Cherry Bark Old Fashioned and the Cucumber Collins – both were on point, especially the Old Fashioned with that unique cherry twist. The back patio's a hidden gem; perfect for chillin' with friends. Spent around $40 for a couple of drinks, which is pretty standard for the area. Definitely planning to hit this spot...

So this place has an extensive whiskey menu, however everything I tried to order they didn’t have. Please update your menu on your website, as it’s very incorrect. The old fashioned drink I settled on wasn’t very good. Was disappointed in the experience. Didn’t have Weller, didn’t have Jefferson’s Ocean (after giving me an update menu with that on it), didn’t have Henry McKena single barrel.
