I could not recommend Morgan MFG highly enough. We had a 275 person wedding there in the fall of 2019 and the experience was flawless, stress-free and enjoyable the entire time. We worked with Rachel (and also had the pleasure of meeting Anne, as well). The communication was always quick and accurate, and they adjusted schedule/invoice/layout etc immediately in accordance with my ever changing mind and very particular requests. The bar staff was friendly and efficient and poured quality drinks all night, while treating our guests very well. It is definitely a big financial investment, but if this space is within your budget it is worth every penny. It is absolutely beautiful and they are a very well-oiled machine. Their list of preferred/required vendors are all high quality and they know how to work together and navigate the space perfectly with these vendors. Lighting/sound quality was great. We could not be happier and highly recommend them for the beautiful space and excellent, detailed service! Thank you for making our wedding...
Read moreI've been here several times for a variety of different events. Most recently for the "Under A Blue Moon" a food and beer event sponsored by Blue Moon beer.
From weddings, to liquor presentations, this space can be dressed up or the wonderful industrial features of the building can be featured. It has 6 wonderful skylights that illuminate the room naturally.
This is a large open space that used to be a manufacturing facility. The "bare bones" of the building also serve as a wonderful backdrop for a lot of these events. The space can be divided into smaller rooms or used as one large room like they did when Cochon555 was held here.
As far as parking, they do have a small parking lot in front, but, you should be able to find free street parking nearby.
Some of the best events in the city have occured here and I am looking forward to...
Read moreMorgan MFG is an amazing venue - with a great staff. I've been there as both an event guest & an event producer. While the building pre-dates the Great Chicago Fire of 1871, it doesn't show its age functionally, while still providing Old World charm, stunning skylights, perfectly complementary fixtures, great bar service, full kitchen & surprisingly nice bathrooms (i.e. selfie heaven). If you're in Fulton Market anywhere near 401 N. Morgan St. (a few blocks north of Google's offices), look for the artfully painted & historic water tank (probably 1 of 10 of its kind left in Chicago today) perched atop the venue - like a lighthouse leading folks to our Chicago Artisan Market on select Sundays. We've done 8 events there - and plan to be back for many seasons/years to come!
P.S. If you're getting married in Chicago, DEFINITELY check...
