So I called ahead to ask if they had a lamb head (a delicacy in Mexico) the guy who answered, looked like he was the owner) said yes I asked if he could set one aside under my name, he said yes, I got there and it was jam packed, so I waited in line as one should after standing there over an hour, when it was my turn, they said there were none, no apologies no nothing, I asked the owner and his response was, no lambs left?, to one of the guys, the place has NO social distancing, there are only two guys taking orders slow as heck, and it doesn't seem too clean. Okay butcher shop, live animals in the back. $10 per pound for lambs and $6.49 for sheeps. Convenient if you are in the city. Let you cut an animal you pick. 3 starts bc i saw an employee get cut on the machine while processing the meat and they continued using that equipment (saw) without cleaning it or sanitizing the equipment. And the owner lady refused to acknowledge any blood got on the machine, even though the employee stopped the equipment when he got cut, went to wash hands, put on a band aid and got right back to work in...

The management has gone downhill over the last few years. Loud, obnoxious, and insulting is what you get from the staff, especially the "boss lady." Also, the prices have increased dramatically. Been going here for close to 20 years. The last 5 years, the overall experience has been really disappointing. Will be looking for a different butcher shop. This year was my last visit.
