Came here for my last breakfast meal and it did not disappoint! Once you're seen you're able to choose wherever you'd like to sit. They're quick to check on you and I put in my order as I came in during the last hour they were open. Even though there were lots of people count through to eat. The omelette was packed with potatoes and sausage and the hash browns were cooked to a nice yummy crisp. Staff was all very kind and it was really cool to see all the memorabilia all around of the hawks!! Nice place that I'd definitely come back to!

Patty Melt was listed as one of the best in Chicago #2 after Little Goat diner according to Foursquare they're so wrong it's average at best bit on the dry side . I do agree that little goat diner has the best in Chicago but my number two would be United Grill located on Armitage. Palace Grill is not even in the top 20 when it comes to patty melts I have plenty of reviews of food around the Chicago area so I speak from experience. Maybe the other food there is good but the party melt is definitely a hard pass for me

We've been wanting to try this spot for years. Wish we had done it sooner. A fantastic "Greeky spoon." Fun, Blackhawks themed atmosphere. Typical Greek diner offering. All the food was delicious. They have both breakfast and lunch options. We met George, the owner. Terrific guy! Good strong coffee. Friendly/attentive service. Some parking behind the restaurant. Some side items cost extra so ask if you don't want to be surprised. We'll definitely be back! Thanks, George!!!

Always walked by this place, ended up checking it out for lunch finally. Didn't know it was supposed to be well known until I looked it up after the fact.

Food was very average. I got the 1/2 palace burger and it was pretty dry and tasteless. Bun was nice and the fries were average. The staff seemed nice and friendly up until I was about to leave and that's when they earned their single star. After sitting for a while I had to wave someone down to take my money and then I sat there even longer waiting for the change. Then when I finally went up to ask, they claimed that they already gave it to one of the people I came with (who had already left). They were already stepping out the door when they were bringing up my cash to the register and they didn't even pay for my meal - pure and utter nonsense no matter how you try to slice it. I ended up leaving a tip regardless because I figured that they must need it if they felt the need to stiff a customer out...

I had walked in to this place expecting to get a patty melt like the one showcased on the show "Chicago's Best"that was featuring this very restaurant and sandwich. The patty melt I was served was half the size of the one on the show! It also only had three little strings of grilled onion instead of the large amount served on "Chicago's Best". My daughter ordered the French toast that they charge 8 dollars for which consisted of two small pieces. How can you justify charging $8 for two slices of egg bread that arrived cold? My wife had the $16 steak skillet that was mostly potatoes instead of steak... This place serves small portions at very high prices. The food was tasty and the service was good but they are a cash only establishment and should mention this before a customer puts in an order. I had to run to chase to get cash because I was not about to pay a hefty service charge on a sketchy ATM that was located in...

I moved to the west loop area 8 months ago. I was a fan of this place before I moved there. I have NEVER had an issue there before this last visit. I have become accustomed to a wait now and I'm usually ok with that. Today my daughter, sister, nephew and I was blatantly over looked a few times for seating, four people came in and the host acted as tho he hadn't seen is and sat them down. At first I thought it was an error but until he Sat another 2 people down,so I spoke up he then told us,well you can go over there and pointed to the corner. We seated ourselves waited another 20-25 min or more just to get water and drinks. We finally ordered our food after almost an hour of just drinking water. I love this place and the owner is super friendly and a GREAT owner and he has impeccable customer service, hence is why I will continue to support it!!! One bad apple can't spoil the...
