Urban Treez Chicago — Restaurant in West Chicago Township

I decided to try something different and kept scrolling through DoorDash when I came across Urban Treez Chicago. They had a fantastic buy 1, get 1 deal, so I couldn’t resist! I ordered the Turkey Sandwich, and I was excited to try it out. Unfortunately, that’s when things took a turn. The delivery was an absolute nightmare. My DoorDash drivers—yes, there were FOUR of them were ridiculously late, and the sandwich didn’t arrive until an hour after the estimated delivery time. This wasn’t the restaurant’s fault, of course, but it definitely left me worried.

I was bracing myself for a soggy, disappointing sandwich, given how long it had been sitting in the car. To my surprise, the sandwich was incredible! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly put together. Honestly, I never thought I’d be so impressed by a simple turkey sandwich, but Urban Treez really nailed it. The ingredients were top-notch, and the sandwich was way better than I expected after such a frustrating delivery experience.

I can’t hold the restaurant accountable for the delivery issue, but I do wish DoorDash would have handled things better. That said, I will definitely be ordering from Urban Treez again—they’ve won me over with the quality of their food! Just crossing my fingers that next time, the delivery goes a bit more smoothly.

My friend just opened this shop, so I had to check it out... As someone who comes from a long line of health foodies + as someone who's had a previous BAD experience with CBD from another shop, I must say I'm impressed.

The shop is extremely clean + well-organized. More similar to a health food store than a head shop. But, they do specialize in CBD--everything from gummies, to small/affordable tinctures, to the big fancy stuff. I bought the "Balancd" and "Bliss" BLNCD CBD drinks, since I wasn't ready for a tincture. I ended up loving them + will come back for more.

They carry a great local coffee: Big Shoulders, plus a lot of my snack favorites. I was recently forced to go gluten-free, but their gluten-free selection cheered me up!

The staff is professional, friendly and helpful. They told me their mission is to spread positivity + God's kindness.

Update 5/14/25: Updating with 3 new items I tried today: açaí bowl w/ protein powder, liver flush shot, and The Refresher juice. All of them were super tasty! :)

Very good place for a healthy fix. I forgot which smoothie I got but all of them sounded good on the menu. The chicken salad was also really good, and I felt good/healthy after eating it.

It took a hot minute for my order to be ready. I would say like 10-ish minutes. But, they were making the salad & the smoothie from scratch so I was ok with waiting. I felt comfortable knowing I was eating something healthy & not pre-made.
