Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in West Columbia

I don't usually leave reviews, especially negative ones, but it's happened so many times that I feel the need to talk about it.

I come here frequently, or at least send my boyfriend in, and I get the same smoothie everytime. It's a modified version of a menu smoothie, but it's just changing one ingredient and adding another one to an already basic smoothie so it should not be complicated at all to do. I learned it from when I worked at a tropical smoothie in the past, so trust me, I know exactly how easy it is to do.

Now, whenever we go in to get our smoothies and Megan is there, I know we're getting our orders perfect for sure. She's wonderful, kind, and pays attention, so I know if she's there I can rest easy and my order will be great and yummy.

However, it's been multiple times with other workers in which being faced with my modifications they will either 1. Straight up say they can't do it (which I know is not true) or 2. Still charge me for the modifications on the computer but only add mango and pineapple with nothing else. Which is completely just.. what?? It makes me not want to come to this location despite the incredible service from Megan because I'm spending money on something I won't end up drinking because some of the workers refuse to do my order correctly, or even do something so simple as checking and reblending the smoothies if they notice ice chunks in them (I have had numerous instances where the amount was absurd.)

Overall, I believe customer service needs a severe improvement (except on Megan's part, she is lovely as I said) because I'm, and possibly other people that come here, are close to just not coming. I really, really do not want to pay to get an incorrect, icy mess everytime I come here. Thank you...

I hope whomever owns or runs this place reads this. Why should I call in with my order in advance just to wait again when I get to store. Why? She said 5 mins I took 9 mins to get there yet still end up waiting 6 additional minutes. For some reason my order was hand written on a piece of paper which is not a big deal but I think because of that the most important part of my order which is the extra blended part was missed. I even told the woman/girl on phone that with out it(extra blended) she might as well throw away the smoothie yet it was just ignored!!!!!!!! But rest assured there was music playing in the back to keep the employees entertained. I keep giving you chances after chances by not always going to TSC on Sunset Blvd but you keep tell...

Idk what happened here but change it back please! I ordered my smoothie at 2:11 for 3:00PM. I never got my smoothie I waited until 3:30 to say something because I wanted to be nice. I finally got tired because my whole 30 minute break was wasted standing there waiting for a smoothie I ordered an HOUR before. So I ask the young lady who is making the smoothies where my smoothie is and she ignores me at first & then asks me what I had. Then says “oh I didn’t get that”. The terrible customer service isn’t even the problem I could care less. I just wanted my smoothie 😂. The shift leader was awesome he gave me a refund and I appreciate...
