I stopped by around Sunday noon for wind-down me-time over book and coffee. I got their Keto Cheesecake per the attendant reco, which she mentioned as having zero sugar. IMHO it's quite steep being at $7 or 8 (can't recall) at that size, but it tasted pretty decent being zero sugar. The texture was neither too dense nor too airy, just staying in between. The blueberries on top would add natural sweetness to it. I would say I preferred the shell to be crispy than soft like it was.
I got their Lavender Latte, which I was surprisingly fond of. Probably because it's pretty light hint of the lavender scent itself, which nicely didn't overpower the coffee aroma. I actually indeed just opted for it out of my curiosity but I was aware myself I wasn't that big fan of floral hint in my coffee; yet surprisingly I kinda liked this one. Read moreI’ve been here so many times, and I can confidently say this spot has become one of my absolute favorites for breakfast, a light dinner, or catching up with friends over a glass of wine.
They have an excellent wine selection, top-notch and delicious coffee, and the morning plate? I could eat it every single day. Finding a place that makes their own salmon is a rare gem—there are maybe a handful of spots in LA that do it, and here, the salmon is just phenomenal. The bread is amazing too; you can tell they put as much love into choosing their bread as they do their wine. I won’t even start on the syrniki—they’re so good they sell out fast and are basically in a league of their own. There’s always a line for them!

I’m officially declaring it — People Talk LA has the best coffee in the city. And yes, the best matcha too. But the real star? Their syrniki. I’ve tried syrniki all over LA, and these are hands down the best. Perfectly sweet (but not too sugary), rich, satisfying, and absolutely delicious.
The menu is light, well-crafted, and full of flavor. Everything here feels thoughtful and stylish — from the food to the design.
It’s one of those places you always want to come back to — whether it’s for a casual coffee, a friendly catch-up, or a light lunch/dinner. The space is beautiful, the people are interesting, and the location is great.
Highly, highly recommend! This place has heart — and...
