Amazing experience all the way through. We spent a bunch of time researching couches before narrowing in on three different companies. Nothing seemed to compare what we saw in terms of materials, quality, and reviews. Then we went to LA to feel them and see if what we saw online matched up.
We walked in to their showroom in Hollywood and were met by a super nice woman named Casiah. (I didn't realize it's usually appointment only until I just saw that listed on their site, so it's probably best to do that instead of just walk-in). She showed us around, explained all the details, knew every answer to every little question we had, and even showed us the coke can test in person. She literally poured a can of coke onto a couch cushion and it immediately wiped off. The material is beyond amazing. And it's great for dogs too! And let me just say... the couch is so soft and luxurious. I feels super high quality (like the RH cloud) but it also feels like it'll last for decades.
From there Casiah gave us some samples to take home, gave us her info for any further questions, and we were just left with a choice of color. Driving home we felt super excited that we had found the perfect couch.
Over the next day I emailed back and forth with her all day long. She put together a few different configuration options, we discussed the different fabric types, she helped us get the right throw pillows, and was so helpful. Only at the end of the day, right before we were about to pull the trigger, did I find out she had been doing all this on her day off. I was blown away that she was that committed to her job, but from what she had told us about the company in general... it was obvious she loved where she worked. In a way... this gave us additional confidence.
Long story long haha... we pulled the trigger yesterday and ordered the 6 piece Natural White extra deep. As someone taller, I can tell you the extra deep is where it's at. It's worth the extra money. Really excited to get the sofa and will update this review once I do. But as of now I can confidently recommend this place to anyone... hence my longer review here. I'm one of those types of people that like to contribute when I have a really good or really bad experience... and this one was...
Read moreMy husband and I have been looking for a new sofa for over a year, but had been unable to find something that was sustainably built, would give us the pit style we'd been dreaming of, and something we could modify as our houses/needs change. We also kept running into issues with companies not having showrooms or warehouses to check out the items and with a lot of companies having hefty restocking fees if you don't like your purchase, it felt like we'd never find our match.
We were so excited to find 7th Avenue! Online it seemed to check all our boxes and they fortunately had a showroom in LA, so we could check them out in person. We met with Casiah Jones last weekend and had an amazing experience. Casiah was wonderful at listening to what we needed, showed us all the bells and whistles of the product (and there were a lot!), and at no point did it feel like we were getting sold on something. You can tell that 7th Avenue knows they have a great product that speaks for itself.
So we loved how versatile the sofa was; you can change all of the covers on the sofa (even on the frame), can purchase replacement pieces, can change the firmness of the pillows easily, it's liquid repellent for easy cleaning, and it's completely modular. Literally every piece is changeable. I also heard they're coming out with new colors next years which can be purchased alone so if you ever get sick of what you have, it's so easy to make a change. Again, we loved that we had options to make it the daybed/pit style when it's just us at home and change the shape into something more accessible when we have guests. We also loved that if we moved into a different space we could purchase one off pieces to expand our sofa down the road. Ultimately we purchased the charcoal 6 seat modular daybed style with extra deep seats and classic size ottomans and cannot wait for it to be delivered!
Thanks again, Casiah for all your help making this...
Read moreLove the couch, but the customer service once you have paid $$$$ is terrible!!!! First, the scheduler doesn't have a calendar to schedule when he calls for delivery. We waited over a week knowing our couch was ready (after a 2+ month ordering wait time) to get an actual delivery date. It took 3 phone calls, 2 emails to the lady whom I ordered it through (Casiah) who stopped responding to my emails, to pick a day I was free because when the scheduler calls, he wants to drop it off in less than 24 hours and all I was asking for was a few days in advance. And the only reason I got quicker service was because I also sent a message thru fb which goes to JR Weinberg, a big honcho, who apologized for the terrible experience. Second, and more shocking, they delivered a different model couch, thought I wouldn't notice, and then tried to sell me on the different model which is LESS MODULAR than the one in the store than I bought. When I spoke with the scheduler again after they purposely sent me the wrong couch, and spent 2+ hours putting it together, he made it sound like I was being a pain since I was asking for the couch I bought (that a is 100% modular) instead of the one they tried to switch, which is about (80% modular). I could not believe it! I paid over $5k for a couch and they knowingly gave me something different. The 2 delivery guys, Ivan and ?, were wonderful though and totally understood my frustration and the fact that the couch they gave me on Friday, had to be picked up and switched on Monday. They were the only ones to follow through with their jobs, correctly, on the first try. I would not recommend working with this company at all. They are great, until they get...
