I was picking up an online order that was about $53.00. I have a son who will only eat sandwiches with cheese on them and nothing else. Since this is not an option offered online, we've always placed the rest of our order and then requested the bread-with-cheese sandwich and paid for it at the counter. This evening a young man who said his name was Hayden, and that he was the manager, refused to sell me 6 inches of bread with a slice of cheese on it. I reassured him I would pay for it, but he said he had no way to ring it up and would therefore not sell it to me. I told him that we've done this many times before and the Jersey Mike's employees have always worked with us, usually charging around $5. He still refused. The two younger men who were working with Hayden made suggestions, like ringing it up as "gluten free" or some other item that would be comparable in price. Hayden refused. I was getting really annoyed and asked him to please figure something out because I knew they had the items I wanted, and I was willing to pay. He would not. He just asked if there was anything else he could do. I told him he could give me his manager's name and number. He told me the manager is Eli and I can call on Monday to talk to him.
This is obviously unacceptable customer service. I spent upwards of $50 on sandwiches from your shop and your employee couldn't be bothered to sell me bread and cheese. What a...
Read moreI’ve been to Jersey Mikes before and it was great! Clean, great customer service but this one here… omg! The store was empty and the employees were just hanging around minding their own business like they don’t have customers waiting. Finally they take our order and decided to give us the white cut up bread that was already there on the dirty counter. Like clean your disgusting area! Further more the guy assisting the girl cuts up the cheese and gets it cover in all sorts of crumbs and stuff already on the counter. Ew! Please make sure you address this uncleanliness with your staff at this location. You should never serve bread you just have left over on the counter and you should definitely never serve food in a dirty environment. Lawsuit waiting to happen. This is a clean...
Read moreEmployees are nice. The only thing I can say that gives me pause is I noticed an employee that was handling my sandwich had on some sort of yarn bracelet that kept dragging across my sandwich as he was cutting it and it grossed me out to think of possible cross contamination from whatever bacteria was on the bracelet and which touched my bread as he prepared my sandwich. Like if you use the restroom then whatever bacteria your bracelet touches in the bathroom could POSSIBLY be on a sandwich you are paying for. Kinda gross if you think about it. Opportunity to retrain staff before the health inspector...
