I've never had a positive experience with this McD's before or after the new remodel. I've waited too long to say something in here so I'm putting it all out there.
It was a mess before the remodel, it's a mess after. That's all I can say about the building itself.
The kids (and I mean kids they act no older than 13) who work here are lazy. They're irritable. They're impatient. They are not attentive at all when you walk in expect to stand there a good 3-5 min before anyone walks up to the POS. They apparently don't understand English half the time because everytime I've ordered from here it's always messed up if I ordered more than one item. The one time my entire order was right I got a bad sandwich and medium size french fries that might as well have been a small size because that's how many they stuck in there. Add to that half of them were black rotten potatoes. I used to go back when things like that happened to get my money back but knowing the kind of employees they have there I'd be surprised to get so much as a free diet coke. So I didn't go back there again.
I was out shopping with my mom one day and needed to stop there. She decided to get a Coke at the drive thru. I warned her about the service but this was not out of the way. She wanted a Coke. That's all. $1.08. Pull forward and we hear "We only have 1 liter bottles because our machine exploded so no fountain drinks." Why they couldn't they tell us this when we ordered, idk. But no big deal. We said okay but she also asked for a cup of ice. They said "Yeah you can get that at the next window." After we paid we pulled up. The kid gave us a 500 ml bottle. Not that this is too small, but they don't even know 500 ml from 1 liter. My mother waited for the cup of ice. She said I a condescending tone. "I don't think we can do that." Note: I knew at this point we were not the first to ask for this and pulling up We noticed one customer didn't even drink their Sprite but threw it out the car window and the drive up window was full of coke (I would never condone littering but obviously others had also had enough with their service or lack thereof). I told her, in a perfectly calm voice almost in unison with my mother "The other girl back there said we could get a cup of ice." She said "Calm down! I'll see if we can our machine broke so I don't know!" My mother said "Figure out what to do in situations like this it's an opportunity to think before you get defensive. We already paid for a Coke how about a cup of ice?!" She finally Decided to bring us one not hesitating to roll her eyes at us.
I've done multiple surveys for this location but the manager/owner of this McD's clearly couldn't care less about how this place is run. I've had bad experiences with service at other restaurants, but this location is one that I know to be consistently bad. I know this is the biggest fast food chain, I just don't understand why put surveys on the receipt and why ask customers what they think if time passes and no one is ever heard? Definitely...
Read moreThis location was just recently torn down and rebuilt. Overall, the appearance is very nice and the layout is not too bad. There are kiosks that you can order your food at without having to go through the line to order it at the cash register. We ended up using a kiosk after they screwed up our order and missed an order of french fries. We had tried to get back in line to ask them to add it to our order but the line had gotten very long. So I used the kiosk and was given a number for the pick up. I did like the fact that when you place an order, you can sit down and they will bring you your food instead of having to stand around at the counter waiting for it. The few things I was not impressed with was that, even though everything was new and nice and shiney, it was still messy in a lot of areas. It didn't seem to me like they were keeping up with busing tables that had been left dirty and the area where the soda machines are was very messy and VERY sticky. While I like that they will bring your order to your table, it did mean that a bunch of employees were just standing around in front of the counters, waiting for orders to come out. It makes it a little uncomfortable if you are near the front and you feel like they are just standing there watching you eat. We stopped at this location about a week after the re-opening. So maybe it will just take them some time to get into the swing of things. We have been through the drive thru once and that experience was much better. They were quick and the employees were very nice. We did have to pull over and wait for a few minutes to get our food and it took a little longer than I thought it would but they were very very busy. We just glanced in the play area but it looked like a lot of fun for younger kids and they do have tables near it. Read moreThis place is disorganized and disgusting place to eat. We came in at 9:31. Orders 2 Quarter Pounders Large Meals. Pretty simple Order right? Currently still waiting 30 min later for our meal. Our Receipt number is 256 and they are currently at 261. 5 Customer in 30 min not including our order they seemed to have forgotten or misplaced. I have watched Cars for the Drive through come and go at a fairly average time for a McDonalds but the wait time alone is discouraging. Pricing for 2 meals is $20.52 now and climbing which is ridiculous. I commented to my girlfriend that I should’ve taken her to somewhere better for $20. Their Lobby has Trash, Stains, and Food left out on tables unoccupied by guests. The manager is the only presentable employee here. Everyone else looks like they haven’t washed their cloths in a few days and as someone who has worked in the Fast Food Industry for 2 ish years while in school. Standards have seriously dropped. I don’t expect stellar service when coming to McDonald’s but the Cleanliness and 30 min+ wait time is ridiculous. Google review seriously needs to add a Negative Star Options because this place deserves it. Upper management seriously need to reconsider their employee standards. You pay $12 an hour right? We had approached a high-school aged employee and he blamed us for not speaking up sooner 10:17pm.
Updated Review: 10:32pm Julio Rivera (Assumed Manager) finally spoke to us and apologized for the wait time and issued us a 2 Meal Free Coupon signed by him and a full refund. Which I appreciated but it still leaves the cleanliness to be improved.
