Well ok , so i and my family arrived at your location and I have bragged about the restaurant. I was surprised by the lack of up keep your team had. One, this very young kid wasnt trained on a split transaction , card and cash ... Then a kid even younger looking came didnt say much just took care of it , that part ok great we are hungry right? K moving on , 2nd , i explain to my family how it all goes right I then grab a plate head over to the pasta area ask for a full rack and the youngster doesnt miss a beat, just ok sir , grabs bare hands no food gloves just bare hands ... I was surprised really thinking wow covid , the bat fever didnt scare this youngster enough an not to mention i have a food handlers permit from the state of utah an yeah i know the rules. So you're probably wondering why i didnt say anything well didnt want to upset my family, an didnt want to make your really young staff cry so everybody went home happy on that part. 3rd They didnt come and clear the plates off like i remember, no signs saying anything , so i did what any fatherly figure would do moved them to the front check counter ( I dont really know what to call that counter coming in upon entering the restaurant). 4th The salad bar only thing there was the ham tasted like it went bad.

Look I know times are crazy these days but get staff that really want to work not once did any personal come up to us and ask if we were enjoying our meal , an elderly couple said the same thing to my spouse an myself on their way out, I think safe to say not one said anything to the other few people that were in side. This incident wont make me stop completely from dining in at the place but when you boast about the quantity , quality , service , and the locations just made me feel embarrassed , I am sorry , I will come back we came over 700 miles to visit family , I just hope its better then...

113 July 2023 - 4 Stars First time at this brand (ever). I really liked the salad and pasta bars. The dessert bar was also good, but at times, it was not stocked well.

In our group of 8 (4 adults and 4 kids under the age of 8), all the kids and two adults really enjoyed the pizza. These six are locals and come here often. My wife thought the pizza was okay -to- good. I did not like the pizza at all. My wife and I each tried a variety of pizzas. Some she enjoyed more than others. For me, it was the sauce and crust that turned me off. It is a typical high volume (inexpensive) sauce/crust you can get at any discount pizza place.

I do have pretty high pizza standards, given I worked in this industry from age 11 - 50, including a time as the operations manager for a pizza chain. I note this solely to point out a majority of our group (7 of 8) would come back again. I could be the problem one.

On a side note, while appearing very busy and numerous staff working tonight, I saw long periods - with dirty dishes piling up on the table while the customers are eating. This is not appealing to me personally. My son tells me they often have to stack the dirty dishes around the table when they come here as they do not clear things from the table until you get up and leave. For example, a large group left, and they came in to clear things off. The employee and his cart were next to our table. At the end of our table (stacked very high) were plates, etc from 8 people who had finished eating salad, pasta, and pizza. We were getting ready to have dessert. The staff member, after clearing the table of the party that left, looked at us and the pile and started waking away. We had to ask him to take our stack of plates. He almost...

We've been to pizza pie cafe many times as we usually go for our sons' birthdays. Our experience there is generally pretty good, but it was way below that when we went last night. There were no forks for a long time and then when there were forks, there were no plates. It's pretty hard to eat salad with a spoon. There were many people lined up along the wall who were waiting for pizzas to come up. There was a span of many minutes where there were no pizza selections to choose from. (Not the best situation when going to a pizza BUFFET). I went back several times to try the pumpkin pizza that was advertised as the monthly special. Each time I went back, there was still just small burnt pieces on the plate, so I never got to try it. (Which I was super disappointed about.) Upon our exit, I looked around to see many tables that were stacked full of dirty plates and silverware, including our own. We only saw someone collect our used plates once during our time there. Thankfully, I don't think this experience ruined my son's birthday. Kids are pretty oblivious when it comes to things that aren't quite right. I have to give them the benefit of the doubt because there was a big party going on in the back, so that was the reason for getting so behind. But, a party like that would've had to been reserved in advance which meant that they should've been more prepared with enough pizza (and staff) to accommodate a large group as well as other patrons who were visiting. We won't let this experience deter us from going back because we go there often. We just felt disappointed that we didn't get the kind of night we'd hoped for (especially when we spent $31...

I’m a returning customer. My family loves to eat here but after tonight we will NEVER return. I especially like the spicy sausage sauce but tonight it has a very odd taste. I politely walked my entire plate minus one bite up to the manager JAMES and told him that I usually love that sauce but something wasn’t right tonight. He grabbed my plate and said okay. I thought that was the end of it. I went to get a plate of meat marinara instead. While I was waiting for my noodles, the manager JAMES proceeded to harass me in front of all the employees and customers. He said “You don’t look very happy. You could go to Chuck-a-rama.” At this point I was done. I didn’t wait for my noodles. I was so embarrassed. I asked for his name. He said “It’s James. Just like it says on the wall” I asked the girl at the register for a Managers phone number. She said I can’t give you that information and went and got James. Of course by now I have vented to my husband and he is upset. He tries to have a conversation with James and James refuses to hear anything we have to say. I have worked in management and would never treat a customer this way. I tried to call Jonas. The name that James gave to me and got no response. I’m very disappointed. It’s sad when a bad manager can ruin one of your families favorite places to eat. If someone else opened a pizza buffet, they would put this place out of business. I am not the first to complain about the “managers” rude behavior and lack of professionalism.

My son went to one of the Davis county locations and wouldn't stop begging us to try it.... we were way less than impressed. The selection at this store was very small, and we didn't really care for their pizza. The salad bar was decent, and some of the desert pizzas were ok, but as I was eating the pie of the month, I found a hair baked into the crust! When i mentioned it to my husband, an employee overheard and came over "to get it out of the way". No apology or acknowledgement of the hair, but he cleared all my dishes while I was still eating!! He took everything from in front of me, and left me there, still holding the piece of food with the hair!!! It was so weird!!! There was some sort of inspection going on, so they were inspecting all sorts of stuff in detail, but the dining area was completely neglected. There was a ton of food under all the tables, and the table next to us was full of dishes when we got there and didn't get bussed until over an hour later. It was just kinda gross and unappetizing. The other thing that really bothered me was that they make you pre tip if you're using a card, but we didn't know until after we paid that we refilled our own drinks and we had no interaction with any employee until the very end when he took my plate away!! I felt like the whole visit was a waste of my money, but asking me to tip a non-existant waiter just feels like a rip off to me.
