Any other time I’ve eaten here I would have EASILY given this a 4 star. It’s 8/12/24 a Monday night, it’s just now 8:06pm as I write this. I got here let’s say 7pm. When I got here there was hardly anyone. Plenty of parking. Yet when I get inside to see I am the only one waiting for a table but there is no host in sight for easily 5-10mins was disappointing. I ordered the 9oz fillet with fries as both sides, a stuffed mushroom appetizer, and a 20oz summer ale. The beer took 10mins to get to me. I got my meal before my appetizer. My steak was very dry and definitely not medium rare. I’ve NEVER had this happen. They usually ALWAYS nail the cook on the steak and it’s always pretty juicy and flavorful not dry like it was tonight. Even the stuffed mushrooms looked scorched and were unusually dry. My waitress and the beer were the only good things about my dinner. The only reason I ate a majority of the food is because I didn’t want to wait AGAIN and this was my first meal of the day so I was very hungry. The last time I was here was maybe a little over a month ago. Said to see when I returned the experience was very lackluster. I think the next time I’m stuck between deciding if I want longhorn or a different option I might leave towards the other option. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry for years from bartending to managing a restaurant. That’s what I currently do for a living so I know what service can be expected based on certain factors like time of day, day of the week etc etc. 7pm on a Monday night should not have warranted this kind of service from a restaurant that most would consider ā€œupscale/fancy(ish)ā€ for a lack of better words. I literally always tip 50%-100% because I always get great service and I know what it’s like working these jobs. Will I come back? Yes I’m sure, but probably not for a little while now.

This is an example of what they are serving. I got take out. The smell was horrendous and should have been an obvious sign to not give it to a customer. Went back to the store with the potato and gave it to the manager so she could smell it and look at it. She seemed unbothered and said she had nothing to do with it. Ok you may have not made the potato but you are supposed to he supervising the crew and ensuring the food is at least edible. They gave me another potato. Went to my car and double checked that one. This one looked white inside instead of brown but still had that burnt old smell. I went back in left the potato there. Not going to eat something that smells gross especially after that first old burnt out potato they gave the first time. Noticed the review below me also was a complaint about a potato from within the last week.

Thank you Chris! (Our excellent and personable server) What a stunning meal! I just dined here with my family. I always think the atmosphere from the people to the color theme and artwork makes for something special and simultaneously relaxing. Our server, Chris, was funny and friendly. He was very attentive to our needs and those of the other tables he was attending to. We all thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Easy five stars across the board! He definitely deserved a good tip!! Oh, I guess I should also mention the food. It was all done to perfection, were all generous portions, and I particularly liked the slight spice to the fries. Sometimes there can be a bit of a wait time, but for service this good? It's absolutely worth it! Thanks Chris and team! - the 'Fingerless Gloves Guy' as he mentioned 😁

My friend and I stopped by today for lunch before noon and the experience was anything but pleasant. The meal wasn’t necessarily an issue, but the service was. I’ve been a server for 5 years and I get that it’s not enjoyable to wait on those who you have clashing personalities with, COVID restrictions (and it’s politics), conflicting issues/interests in your personal life, etc. But regardless of the specific situation, you’re there to make $$ and go home- period. I was kind, accommodating and tipped my server over 20%, even after being treated like trash for no reason. However, I did leave notes on the receipt because I didn’t condone the mistreatment. My server also made a huge unprofessional decision to share my private debit card info with another server. I knew this because I set my card down to pay for the bill and I saw this 2nd server sprint across the room to her co-worker (my server) to look at it. I have a soft spot for those in the industry who work with the general public, because it’s a tedious job. But, I don’t have a soft spot for people who expect handouts/20% + tips for doing the bare minimum and refuse to treat guests (let alone people) the way they’re supposed to be treated. Bitter attitudes are bad for business and that’s coming from someone with 8 years in the restaurant industry. Especially considering I worked for another Darden property within the last few years. It seems most of the Darden restaurants in the area have huge turnover, poor staff management/training and a lack of personal responsibility. It’s a shame because the reasons in which I left the company in Oct 2020 still...

My wife & I ate at LHS on Monday the 21st of March, We had a male server who took our drink order (cokes & water) very quickly after being seated. He gave us a few minutes before taking our order, we ordered burgers & fries, wife was to be medium well and mine was to be medium with swiss cheese and mushroom, It came out with mushroom, onion, tomato, lettuce, pickle and swiss cheese I think and both came out well done and when I took my first fry I choked on the amount of salt on them. No server to be seen, but the food runner saw I was gagging on the overly salted fry and asked if I wanted replacement fries and I said yes. still no server! BTW our server passed our table 20-25 times never looking or asking anything. No manager stopped by either. we suffered thru our overly cooked meal and were out of drinks and as our server was passing by I waved him down and ASKED "ARE YOU STILL OUR SERVER?" HE SAID "YES" AND I SAID SARCASTICALLY "REALLY?" HE THEN ASKED IF WE NEEDED SOMETHING AND I ASKED FOR MORE COKES.AND WE FINALLY HAD SOMETHING TO DRINK. NO ONE STOPPED BY OUR TABLE FOR AT LEAST 30 MINUTES WHILE WE SUFFERED THRU WELL DONE BURGERS & OVERLY SALTED FRIES AND UNSALTED FRIES. WORST SERVICE EVER AND 1 OF OUR WORST MEALS!!! NEXT TIME WE WILL TRY THE TEXAS ROADHOUSE!!!! GOOD LUCK TO ALL WHO VENTURE INTO THS PLACE AND MAY YOU HAVE A LOT BETTER LUCK THAN WE HAD!!!! i MUST AD THIS, WE FREQUENT THIS RESTAURANT AND THIS WAS DEFINITELY NOT NORMAL AND THEY WE NOT...
