Little Asia — Restaurant in West Melbourne

this was ridiculous .first the number listed on trip advisor is wrong ....but not really wrong ,it was the fax number ,but i dialed it 6 times and got no answer. so, i went there anyhow because i have 17 people to feed .SEVENTEEN !!!!!. the girl at the counter could not really be bothered ( im going to assume she is family to the owner because she literally was bored with me ,employees are usually happier to be getting a paycheck ) when i asked for the ingredients in a dish she rattled off 2 different kinds of hot pepper and i didnt want it that hot .i asked her if they could make things not so spicy and she said NO .i told her i have a few old ladies on this tab and we needed a less spicier dish for them and she said NO .i reminded her that i was ordering for 17 people and she let me know she knew it .and they still werent going to adjust the spice .

i begrudgingly give them one star.......i took my order to a thai restaurant down the street and my bill came to $ 394.14....and i gave them 500 dollars and tol them to keep the rest because they finished my order...

I first started out in love with the place; the food was delicious! But after bringing my wife there and swatting away flies at the dinner table, I began to see something was wrong. As we dined there, we also noticed tables that spoke their language were receiving free refills on rice, which is obvious because you pay before you eat. I still liked the food and dealt with it. But I ordered take out and got a small piece of metal in my food which almost broke a tooth, probably from a rusty wok or something. Finally, after buying food so many times there, I just wanted to see if they recommended any dishes in particular; I spent enough money there and was just looking for some friendly service. The girl at the front is like the rest of the reviews said — clueless. She showed no care to ask what dishes I have liked in the past or anything! She simply said I don’t know, so I asked perhaps they can recommend something, pointing to the kitchen in the back. Without hesitation she said no. So.. that was about it. I turned and left, and won’t...

This place is an absolute hidden gem and, in my opinion, serves the best Chinese food I've tried in this county so far. Every dish we've had has been fantastic, but the orange chicken deserves a special shout-out. It's truly amazing! Unlike so many places where the orange flavor tastes artificial and overly sweet, Little Asia's orange chicken genuinely tastes like real oranges. You can tell they use fresh ingredients, and it makes all the difference. It's perfectly balanced, sweet, tangy, and incredibly flavorful without being cloying. Beyond the incredible food, the atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the service is always friendly and efficient. It's the kind of place where you feel genuinely welcomed.
