This has been bothering me for quite some time and I was too stressed to even write the review. Here is my real review of Harley Davidson Walked in for a tour of the motorcycle class. I had an email appointment to get a tour they didn’t even show up for me. I ended up looking around with one of the guys that was in there, he showed me around . He was a nice guy. Then he turned me over to somebody else,I was intrigued I ended up finding a 2024 streetbob I liked. I said it had to ABSOLUTELY have ABS. I told them I wanted to go home and research and bring in cash to put down on it so I could be sure I wanted to. A very pushy salesman that took advantage of that situation being friendly. I told him having anxiety issues told me how it’s like therapy, which it could be. there is a charge on there I never even agreed to and now I’m stuck with this motorcycle. Do your research before coming to this dealership. Learn from my experience. I purchased with 7 miles and when I got insured I came back to pick up it had almost 30. I wanted to break it I in like they told me to. I actually asked them if this is the same bike. how do I know someone didn’t take it home and hot rod a brand new engine . I specifically asked for a bike with ABS and was assured the one I was sold had it, however, it did not. when I got home after the second ride it said NO ABS so I assumed it was broken, After much research, I learned it didn’t have ABS which I had no way to tell. Also they told me they would throw in the exhaust installation to make the deal and that’s what made me pull the trigger. It was kind of unprofessional when I wanted to leave and he said you have a credit card right? I said yes, he said run that s*. at that point, I had signed some papers and thought I was already stuck into buying it. The whole process was stressful and I feel like I got ghosted after the purchase. The next morning, I get a text don’t forget to write that review and put this name that name in this name in it so they get a bonus. A few weeks later when I when I called about the muffler they said you can come pick it up, I said pick it up you’re supposed to Do a complete install, so I show up to the dealership to install it and they tried to charge me for the install again, and then I showed him the paper that said included installation so they did install it but I had to pay to get it tuned. I just wasn’t expecting to pay another $700. They did take a little bit off of install which again stated it was included. I asked what if we don’t do stage 1 he said you could critically burn up the engine. Or something to the effect of catastrophic failure of the motor. like I said, . I’m brand new to this. Learn from my mistake. Do you research i’d still like to see if Harley would explain to me what the $1483 other charges and fees are when I paid a $1288 prep fee. Taxes all that stuff it ended up costing $21,000 Since the salesman no longer works there and will not return my text. It was deal number 50125 if a manager wants to reach out and talk to me, I was actually charged for a battery fee and gap insurance which I never signed for I would be glad to...
Read moreI have now done the motorcycle basic safety class 3 times. You don’t get taught how to do any of the maneuvers, they just show you how it is done, and after that you have to figure it out yourself. I finally had to watch you tube videos on how to do the figure eight. They say it’s a two/ three day course, but alas it is really about 12 hours only. Here in Florida the temperature was over 90 degrees by 10am, and I was suffering from heat exhaustion. They say you can go at your own speed, well no you cannot, as there are up to 11 others doing it at the same time. If you’re like me, you don’t have a bike at home to practice on, so between each time you do the course, a month goes by, then you have to do the 5 hr online course and written test each time. Then it’s the same two days of trying to figure out how to make the tightest corner that is humanly impossible for a novice rider to make. The only thing going for this class is you can do it over and over and over until you pass, for $170.00, which is the cheapest in the area. Then when you do the test, it’s blistering hot and you’re tired as heck, AND because it’s a test they can’t tell you what is expected, and then suddenly they are timing your stops, why don’t you teach us that in the class, so we know what is expected in the test. Plus it’s a basic safety test, why do you have to be in a time limit. Most logical novices are going to practice before heading out on the road. But unlike some, you need to pass the test to get the endorsement to then buy a bike suitable for you. Plus, all the bikes are 400, maybe I should be practicing on a smaller bike for my height and weight. That might be an idea. After five hours of waiting in the hot sun for your turn to do the exercise, on a hot bike, getting on and off after each drill, to watch you do the next drill, only for us to then figure it out ourselves how to do it, is not fun. I understand it’s important to be safe on a bike, I agree that it is necessary to learn the basic skills, but you need to teach us how to actually do them. Not all of us learn the same way, and most of us are terrible test takers. So, I will have to carry on doing the course until you pass me. What’s sad about this is, I now know I will never ride a bike. But I paid my money, so I will just have to keep coming back, wasting a weekend to do the two days until I pass. Sucks for you, as you could be having a paid student in the class, sucks for me having to waste a perfectly good weekend trying to pass “because you feel I am not safe” to drive on the back roads until I get better. I’m the person that will only buy a bike when I pass. The teachers are okay. They are just following “the rules”, but seriously, for us to succeed teach us, help us, to get it right. Maybe, take us aside and work with us to get it right. Instead of saying, we will practice it again later, but then later, guess what, we still can figure it out. Here’s looking at doing it a 4th time. But will have to wait until it cools down, cause the Florida...
Read moreWORTH THE READ... Shout out to Diego, Nick and Jack If you want a bike used or new, this is the place to go. Diego was my sales guy, Jack was rhe numbers guy, start out by saying both are awesome people to work with. Diego is the most down to earth person you could meet, treated me with the up most respect, never tried up selling, very attentive to what I wanted, listens to the customer unlike others I have delt with " not here ".,speaks to you like a person. Right off felt like I have known him for years. Even after the sale he still takes the time to call and see how everything is going, this is not just a few days later either at least every other week I get a call from him to make sure everything is going good and if I ever need anything don't hesitate to call him. With that being said I sent my son to him the next day after I purchased a used bike and my son purchased a brand new Harley from him. He is the go to guy in my book. Now onto the next and that's the service department. Nick who is in service has also been involved, not going to lie and sugar coat things. Have had some problems with the used bike I purchased and has seen the service department a few times now., things happen with a used bike it's not brand new.
On that note Nick has been the person I have only been dealing with and yes he is the go to guy for any service needed. He has been incredible and another awesome person to deal with. Nick has definitely helped me through the problems with the bike and has resolved those problems every time and has done the best he can with getting things fixed with in a timely manner considering how busy they are. He communicated with me every step of the way and made sure that I'm satisfied. He cares about the customers and there needs which goes a long way with me. Space Coast Harley keep these guys they are an incredible asset to your company and treat the customers the way they should be treated, with respect, understanding and commitment. With all that being said they have also made my 10yr old son feel like a part of everything including hitting the dong when I purchased my bike. I am so happy for him to see that there are still good people in this world that care. Thank you Diego, Jack and Nick to all you have done for myself and my son keep up...
