Business travelers BEWARE! If you dine alone - you will be ignored! If I could rate zero stars I would. As a business traveler, on many occasions I dine alone, and such was the case of choosing Milano's a few nights ago. I asked for a table and the Maitre'd seated me near a few other diners. The wait staff mostly ignored me and passed by my table so many times, that the other diners even noticed. They waited on the others around me, asked if there was anything else that they needed, brought them their food and drinks, etc., and continued to "not see me", even though I was seated at a relatively open and busy area. After twenty (20) minutes (!!!) of being completely ignored, I concluded that they really did not want my business, got up, took my menu with me, and walked to the front entrance, where I was intercepted by the Maitre'd who asked how he could help. I answered that the wait staff ignored me, and no one even bothered to ask if I was dining alone or waiting for someone else. I gave him his useless menu back to him and as I was walking through the doors, he tried to call me back. If this is the way they treat solo diners, then I suggest finding other restaurants - Milano's does not want your business, nor is it worth wasting your time waiting for them to take an interest in...
Read moreLet me start by saying we ordered from milanos with high hopes as they were "5 stars" on Google. When we arrived almost 0 of the customers wore masks (covid central), and cut in front of us multiple times. The waitress was nowhere to be found. By the time she came back we had been waiting for the takeout food for an hour before we finally got it. We had to get our tiramisu out of the fridge ourselves. (Unhygienic much?). They didnt give us any plastic silverware. The food was extremely bland, the chicken was overcooked, dry and under-seasoned. The fried ravioli was overcooked, chewy, flavor was okay though so we'll give it one star. The complimentary bread was both undercooked and overcooked and also flavorless. Honestly if I were you I would drive the extra couple miles and eat at luna piena or genos instead. Their food is always delicious, you never have to wait long, and the food never dissapoints. But if you like not wearing a mask, waiting forever in line, and cutting in front of people or being cut in front of, having a waitress that dissapears, and having to get your own dessert out of the fridge, whilst having bland and overcooked food then by all means this is the...
Read moreFirst time going to this restaurant. I was very excited. I had searched this place on google and loved the reviews so, that’s where we decided to celebrate my sisters birthday. We had a party of 8. I ordered a drink with rum in it (forgot the name). A few minutes into drinking my drink, my fiancée noticed a DEAD GNAT in my drink. We got the waiters attention, he apologized, and brought me another drink. Our food came not long after that. I had the chicken Alfredo. Personally, I didn’t like it. It had zero seasoning and it tasted like they melted butter and then boiled my pasta in the butter. The only thing that i could say that I liked were the Buffalo wings. Fast forward to the point where we pay. I get my receipt and notice that the rum drink was on it. I ask to speak with a manager because clearly I shouldn’t be paying for this drink. The manager, the owner, or whomever came to my table, honestly told me that because the drink was replaced, I should still pay for it and the drink would not be complimentary. We actually argued. Eventually, I was mad enough to flip the table so I just paid my bill, tipped my server, and left. I’M not going back....
